I'm really sorry for not blogging. Have been really lazy. Still working on the south africa post but it will take time.

Met up with my old friends during the christmas period.

On christmas eve, my mum and I met up with wendelynn and her mum. She has been my friend for like 13 years, since kindergarten! (: Anw, we met at orchard and it was freaking crowded, esp at night. We didn't dare to take the mrt so we took the bus home.

Past our old kindergarten and took a photo. Haha but the photo is with her.

On boxing day, went out with my primary school good friends, andrea, eunice and jiayee! (: We make it a point to go out annually during the holidays.

Eunice was wearing the ferrari raikkonen shirt (: and I discovered she was a HUGE F1 FAN!! Haha and we both hate hamilton and button! And she knows so much about F1. Haha, can call her to discuss F1 whenever there's a race!! :D

Went bowling. Eunice has improved her bowling skills tremendously!

Watched sherlock holmes. It's a good movie, only that you have to concentrate to hear what they say. And the chinese subtitles are pretty useless, well to me they are. Both jiayee and I think jude law is hot. Haha.

Andrea and eunice went home for dinner so jiayee and I went for dinner at crystal jade. We took so long to decide because that irritating jiayee left me to decide. We had half a duck and were taking so long to finish it mainly because of the stupid bones and fats. I got sick of duck after that despite loving eating duck.

O level results are coming out on monday! Maybe I'll be going to cedar to support jiayee, wendelynn, eunice and other friends since my mum will be going there. Really hope they do well (:

Was watching tennis the other day and my mum started to wave at the tv screen so I stared at her like she was being weird which she certainly was. And then she said,"There, they are waving so I waved back".

And in another tennis match.

And maybe, just maybe, my mum goes retarded while watching tennis.

FAM was fun and enjoyable. Everyone looked really pretty and happy (: Just take a look at the many photos on facebook :D

Food was not bad, although many were more interested in taking photos. Miss FAM, brenda, was brilliant! Her teh tarek skills were impressive!

Going to south africa in 5 days! I'm like totally excited about it! :D

Holidays have started! :D

The weekend was spent at NCO Camp. APEC was going on so we had like tons of police in our school so we felt safe and secure (: Haha, but most of them were slacking, even sleeping because they were kind of just on standby.

The school had so many freaking mosquitoes!! My mum told me to bring repellent and I told her school had no mosquitoes one but it turned out that I got mosquito bites all over me! ):

It was my last camp spent in rgs and of course a good bonding time with batchmates. Took a lot of photos with sherm's camera too! :D

Ate like a pig because there were leftover packets. Mr leek claimed that dinner on the first day wasn't appetising at all. Haha but we all thought it was okay.

Cheryl koh and wynne were practising their chinese dance for osl. Gosh, wynne is all demure but ckoh is just the complete opposite. Even mr leek was interested in seeing her doing the chinese dance. Haha.

Watched step up at night. Shamaine and sherm fell asleep halfway and I was going to fall asleep but watched until the end of the movie, together with fuyuan. Actually, fuyuan didn't want to watch but she couldn't sleep.

Mam told us her personal ghost stories and we all got so spooked by them! Luckily, she told them in bright daylight if I wouldn't have dared to go to the toilet alone the night before.

And my dear sec ones were really sweet. They gave me a huge board with their messages and photos. They totally stalk me on facebook! But I think all the others were really jealous :D Of course they were!

After NCO camp, went to church. Was like an hour early so I just slept until service began. Watched flashforward at night. I totally hate it when the show just ends on suspense!! ARGH, I know I've been saying this many times but yes, flashforward just loves to do that.

On monday, went out with shamaine and sherm to buy FAM stuff before going for sakae sushi teatime buffet!! :D Shamaine was pointing out all the gold and bling stuff that I got influenced too. Spent a really long time at diva. Sherm and shamaine got their earrings from there.

Wynne met us for the buffet. I ate like damn a lot, even shamaine thinks so, probably even more than shamaine! I thought they ate quite little and we didn't even stay from 3-6! I guess valerie, amelia would be better buffet buddies! Haha.

I like how shamaine's and my head slant to the same angle. Haha.

Went to rubi after that because wynne wanted to buy her shoes. They didn't had the size of shoes that she wanted so she bought another pair but it didn't seem to suit her dress. Now apparently, she hates her dress and wants a new one. SIGH, such fickle minded people. And I got new slippers (: for 5 bucks because my black one from ireland - the thing came off. I don't know how to explain.

Saw huiqing and her mum at ion! Took the same train as her too! Haha. Saw the netball team too.

On tuesday, caught east of eden and privileged that my mum taped on saturday. Oh went to swim as well (:

Went back to school today to collect testimonial. I sound so perfect in it. Had breakfast/ lunch at yakun after that. Nice eggs and kaya toast :D

Went for manicure. The woman was very nice (: And I think I'm totally influenced by shamaine's love for bling bling that I chose such a glittery silver. At first, I was so scared it will get screwed so I putting my fingers in a weird position but now I don't really care already although I thought it got a little screwed when I went to shower.

Met many people while in the manicure shop. Janine and I agree that jiemin looks like a hamster with contacts.

KRIS ALLEN'S ALBUM IS OUT!! All the songs are really good! The kris allen craze is back! His album is on replay on my itunes! :D It is just great that a dark horse won! Caught american idol hollywood week on ch5 in the afternoon and realised that kris allen didn't really feature at all, unlike other finalists.

And in his thanks part of his album booklet, it reads

Oh man, he's so sweet (: My heart just melted.

It's good that I don't have to take Os. I haven't been doing much for the past few days.

061109 FAREWELL ASSEMBLY

It's sad to be graduating ): Janine cried like mad. A few others cried too.

There was class party after farewell assembly. Yingyin and I waited at the foyer for the pizzas for so long!! We were so terribly hungry!! I just ate and ate when we got back to class.

Got our progress reports. Haha nice to see that I have all As! :D And of course my best academic year! The graduation booklets were really nice too (:

SUNDAY

Lunch at din tai fung! The xiao long bao there is the best! Service there is good although the waiters/ waitresses there are all from china.

Watched Flashforward at night. It is such a brilliant show! :D It's so suspenseful yet I have to wait another week for the next episode.

YESTERDAY

Watched THIS IS IT with my parents at vivo. It's a little boring, just shows all his rehearsals but it's quite cool and nice. Maybe it was just too long. Had dinner at soup restaurant! :D

Have been following X Factor. The only person I can discuss it with is huiqing!! And lucie got out!! )): IT'S SO SAD. She was one of my favourites, together with joe and olly! And she is the only one that huiqing and I like. Do youtube them since you all are already done with Os (:

My sleeping habits have gone haywire because of late soccer nights and what not. I wake up in the morning but can't seem to get out of bed so I go back to sleep again. But back to school tmr!

I'm glad that I don't have to do chinese Os. So on wednesday, our chinese class went to CHINATOWN!

Lao shi treated us to breakfast :D Haha, it was a nice breakfast. Had half boiled egg and chee cheong fan!

Went to chinatown heritage centre. It was quite cool. Amelia and Chriselle didn't mind living the rooms if there was air con like in the museum.

Walked around in chinatown for a litle while after that. We walked so far to find the bus stop to take bus 190 back to school.

Oh went to Starbucks the day before. It was so awesome that they provided food - cheesecake, brownie and what not! :D We had a try in cupping the coffee and making cappuccino and latte. Valerie's mum was very nice to fetch me back (: And I think I drank so much coffee that day that I woke up in the middle of the night wide awake.

Bought wii kind of long ago. Wii fit is totally fun!! :D I think it does keep you fit.

Of course I caught the liverpool vs manu match (:

Was super scared before the match and throughout the match. Mum didn't even watch and she went to sleep. Dad went to bed after the first half but came back in the 2nd half because he couldn't sleep. Haha so he watched with me :D

Torres was simply awesome despite him in pain (: I was screaming and jumping like a mad idiot after the first goal. Mum heard it in her sleep. Haha, cannot stand how benitez keeps so calm, like nothing just happened.

Was so scared at the last part. I was so afraid that manu will score, especially owen. Love owen and it would be disastrous if he scores in anfield. And it's really amusing that vidic got a red card for his 3rd consecutive manu liverpool match straight.

But of course despite the penalty and red card controversies, you just gotta admit that liverpool were the better side. And there was definitely the spirit that allowed them to played their best which was unlike previous matches. Just hope that they will continue like that!

Gerrard was there! Hyypia too but sadly, I couldn't find a picture of him despite him sitting just in front of gerrard ): It's great to see him back to watch a liverpool match when he's not in liverpool anymore. Oh man, shouldn't have let him go in the first place!

After the match, Janine called me to tell me about her fresh football experience. Haha, I wouldn't count the singapore vs liverpool match a soccer experience. She sounded so excited when it was like midnight. Can't believe she watched the match live online.

I couldn't exactly sleep because I was sweating like crazy and maybe because I was too excited and happy!

Valerie was so humble to say that liverpool deserved to win. Hanissa asked me to shut up when I didn't even say a thing.

And I realised that I haven't blogged about sentosa and mahjong. Sucks!

Got results back last week. They were pretty good and I'm satisfied them! (: Going to get the best gpa ever in my 4 years, even if it's counted by the old gpa ststem. I guess the only disappointment is in chinese and maybe math 2 in the differentiation exam. My chinese became one of my best subjects to the worst.

Oh yes! My parents are going to get me a wii for my fantastic results! Haha, currently finding more info about it. But hopefully, I will use it in the long term! :D Will definitely keep fit using that.

Friday was mum's birthday. I wrote a card for her okay! :D Do you know how hard is it to write a card for your mum! It's like so weird when you dunno how to write the right words. Dad bought her an ipod nano :O And in the end, I will have to be the one to put music into it for her.

Had a wedding at shangri la sentosa that night. Mum couldn't go because she couldn't take seafood. So dad and I went. As usual, the wedding didn't start on time and the dishes took so long to come. Btw, I didn't even personally know the person getting married. I had 2 bowls of sharksfin! I just cannot stand not eating when the whole world knows that I love sharksfin. The wedding ended really late ):

Read finish yingyin's book on saturday. Not a bad book, at least I finished it without feeling bored. Played mahjong at night. Lost badly, GOSH!!!! Was totally on a losing streak ): My financies are slowly depleting. Not sure if I'm even saving any money or maybe even spending past my allowance.

After church on sunday, went to eat at some jap restaurant. Then, went to IMM since it was around the area. Met xinyi!

Flashforward is my current favourite show. It's just so good and cool although it may be bullshit, like my mum said. Who knows it may happened. Hmm, would probably like many other shows if I watch them. Can't wait for the next season of ghost whisperer to air on tv! Maybe I should consider rewatching it from season 1.

Valerie and I are playing retarded msn games before F1 starts! They were really fun though, especially the diving one. Haha, makes me think about the games cheryl koh and I played.

Going for class outing at sentosa tmr morning! Going to be totally tired since I will be sleeping around 2 after F1.

Cooked maggi mee for lunch today because my parents were not at home by the time I woke up.

Watched The Incredibles on disney channel today. Really love that movie (: It was probably the 4th time I'm watching it.

Done with watcing psycho during reel reading option. Some parts freaked me out. But it was a good movie, considering that it was black and white and it was made in the 1960s.

Coffee option has been not bad. The coffee shop game is really fun! Amelia is totally addicted to the game! Haha.

Had lunch at pepper lunch with a whole bunch of people! I think I'm such a pig. Eat already still hungry while people like sheryl tan and christine can't even finish our food. Then, went to macs to eat ice cream!

Next week is going to be horrible. Checking of papers for the whole week. Not to mention, math exam on tuesday.

Read this article on the top 50 most confusing things in life. Found it incredibly amusing. Especially what women see in russell brand and why cheryl cole is still with ashley cole. Haha, totally agree with them. Also the offside rule is on the list. It's not that hard to get the offside rule!

NETBALL CARN!

It was really fun! :D I think the rain made it even better! Played GK/ GD as usual. I preferred GK because it isn't that tiring. Christine and I make the best defensive pair! :D Haha, surely you must agree! Many injuries occurred!! Like valerie sprained her ankle and quek injured her knee but I guess they are fine now (:

Amelia was the best. She came late. Shermaine was very nice and gave me a 100plus! :D Cheryl koh was kind of unlucky to get both her knees scrapped.

Didn't win anything but I thought banner should have got something! But our banner is nice! :D Anw, we played for the fun of playing! Cannot stand those classes who take it so seriously. We want to substitute player is our problem right? Really proud of 404's class sportsmanship! Didn't even bother knowing how many games we won.

After that, we went to eat at some jap restaurant at novena that amelia recommended! It was not bad. Janine is a weirdo who doesn't eat salmon sashimi.

The next day, I was aching from head to toe. Even my butt was pain. So after church, had lunch and went straight home, didn't go walk walk.

Philo COI yesterday was interesting. I have to bring up the most significant quote I made "There's a point but I just don't know what!" When put into context at that point of time, it was very funny! Plus, it's cool!

Mahjong session with valerie and shamaine next wednesday! Not sure whether it has been confirmed yet. It was actually this sunday but it got postponed. Finding another person to play with us too!

Watching X Factor at the moment. Love lucie jones and joseph mcelderry. Should go and check them out on youtube! I like the top 12 in general, maybe except 1 or 2 of them.

I'm back due to popular demand! Haha.

Sorry for not blogging for SO LONG! First because of exams. And now that exams were over really long ago, I was lazy to blog again.

Hmm, I'm going to SOUTH AFRICA for end of year holidays! (: Haha, really looking forward to it beacuse it is a new place and I haven't been too and it sounds exciting!! :D

Celebrated hejia's birthday yesterday at bugis. Had dinner at nydc.

Lighting problem but it's a cute photo because we are carrying elmos/ cookie monster.

After dinner, went around hunting for hejia's present. Hejia's feet is totally tiny! Even the shoes of the smallest size is too big for her and she can fit into kids shoes. Haha, but we couldn't find anything suitable for her so we decided to get her present another day! (:

Missed F1 singapore grand prix although I managed to catch the last 12 laps when I came back but by that time, all the exciting moments were already over. Felt so wasted for vettel and more for rosberg ): And hated all who made it to the podium.

The really good looking nico rosberg! :D Especially when he has shades on.

The day before, F1 qualifying, liverpool match and manu match were happening all at the same time! Dad was very nice and didn't fight with me for the tv to watch soccer. So I managed to catch the first half of the match while switching to F1 occassionally.

Missed 3 of the 6 goals liverpool scored. Watched the last part of the manu match because mum insisted on doing so because liverpool sure win already what! But at least I caught the awesome gerrard goal! :D Of course torres was fantastic as well!

Options have been quite all right (: We got to do fieldwork for out coffee option, like going to see the coffee products in the supermarkets.

Netball carn this saturday! Had free block in the morning, so we practised netball!

Janine was being very irritating during math because she kept on talking/singing in that super annoying voice and kept on moving my arms while I was writing!!

Spent the whole weekend mainly on SS PT although soccer on TV was just simply distracting but I managed to finish it and sleep early yesterday (: and despite the fact that I was out the whole day on friday where my mum brought me to the 3 shopping malls in tampines. Haha anw, thanks to all whom I bothered to ask questions, mainly huiqing, nina & shamaine! Much appreciated and sorry for confusing you all if I did so! All right, now that is over I shouldn't care about it anymore.

I realised that my craze for soccer, specifically liverpool, is kind of low now though I'm still excited about watching soccer. But maybe because the EPL season just started but I think it's mainly because xabi alonso is gone. It's just not the same without him! But now I have a poster on him on my cupboard in a liverpool jersey! It's such an irony that the poster was in the issue of football weekly this week. Oh wells, it is still such a saddening thing.

Plus, I seriously don't hate manu anymore because ronaldo is gone and I don't have a thing against any other player. And I like jonny evans and owen for some reason. Haha, I like the players from arsenal too, arshavin and van persie! I liked arshavin even before he joined arsenal. I have a poster of him in my bedroom too! Haha, I knew him because he was playing for russia during the euro tournament last year.

Hey but I do still support liverpool! :D although they lost their opening game but I have learnt to take things my stride and not be bothered much about results. I used to be like super stressed out when watching a liverpool match and then be like disappointed that they came so close to that title blah blah. But I guess, like dad said, it's just a game to enjoy and appreciate! :D

My mum said my favourite players are all good looking, so I support them, which is kind of true. Then, dad was like this shows she's a normal teen. HAHAHA.

Murray won montreal masters! Haha glad he did although he took over the world number 2 ranking from nadal. I think roddick is a really funny person, some of his tweets are just amusing and he has spastic display pictures.

Played tennis during pe today. Amelia claims that if we played in a indoor court, she could play as well as maria sharapova! Haha. I think tennis is really hard though fun!

Oh good news! I got all the options we bidded for, as well as amelia, valerie and yingyin since we bidded for the same thing. Haha, we were really lucky! :D

Recently, the people around me has been talking about your inner nerd coming out so we decided to form a nerd club. It's just simply hilarious. Fuxin wrote kind of an advert of the nerd club. I forgot how it all started. But quek's inner nerds came out when she did integration in one of her revision exercises when we haven't learnt integration yet.

Dad complained about the poor quality of the toilet paper we have been using. I was like it's just toilet paper!? So mum bought a high quality one which costs according to her, 50cents a roll. But she's spending my dad's money anw. Of course, it is so much thicker and it even has dolphin prints on it which was cool! Haha.

The National Day weekend has been brilliant! :D The bad thing is that I haven’t done much work ): Have been cramming cheng yu like crazy yesterday. But the test turned out to be quite all right.

And I got home super early! :D Was supposed to be productive today but kind of failed to because I watched america’s got talent. IT’S KICKASS AWESOME!! Lots of laughs, one was so terribly touching that I was almost tearing. And the one airing on ch5 is so terribly backdated.

FRIDAY, 070809

ND celebrations in school were nothing much but fun nonetheless (: They shouldn’t have held it in the parade square, the amphi would have been a much better venue! Anw, I was so scared for npcc when they were marching but they did quite a good job :D

404 should have TOTALLY won fashion parade man!! Our costume was arguably the MOST elegant and sophisticated and fuxin carried it perfectly, being tall and skinny. Sigh, the judges just don’t know how to appreciate such elegance. Nina was a cute flowergirl too! And of course shit and janine being the emcees. But well done to those who stayed back on thursday to complete the costume! I’m quite sad to not have been there ):

Felt really patriotic (: We were like jumping about when singing where I belong. And we were already singing the chorus when the chorus wasn’t there yet. I’m sure ms lim is really proud of us. We sing the national anthem and plus, we sing national day songs during SS class. She will say something about nation and we will go one people, one nation, one singapore.

School ended really early. Went to janine’s house after that, together with amelia and valerie. As usual, her house had a lot of food and we ate kueh. Then, we went to check out a few blogs and take photos with janine’s COOL com camera (: Yingyin was supposed to meet us after her chem tuition but in the end, decided not to come.

Headed to tampines mall to have lunch at swensens. There was a really long queue. Queued for around 20 mins. They had a 1-for-1 promotion which made it really worth it (:

There was this couple at the MRT fighting and we caught all the action. It was funny to think that they think no one is watching since they are right at the corner of the MRT station but didn’t think that diners opposite would notice them. It was interesting because there was some emotions displayed and in the end, it was a happy ending (: We were eating ice-cream and enjoying the free entertainment.

Walked around for a while after that. Amelia took quite long to choose her hair product.

Met up with my parents at vivo. Went to watch GI Joe. Actually, they wanted to watch Up but they had no tickets already. I thought it was a good movie, lots of action! The gadgets and technology shown are also way cool!

Went to eat a fei fei wantan mee after that! :D Cannot stand the fact that there are like 3 stalls along the road that is of the same name. Met pastor alvin there. I think I was staring at him when he walked past so he deduced that I knew him. Haha. His kids are really cute!!

Stayed home the whole day and TRIED to do my work. Can’t believe my parents went out without me again ): I failed to find motivation. Cannot even remember what work I was doing. Was watching TV at night.

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY! :D

Went to church and went to orchard after that. Didn’t think orchard central was good, ion is much better!

Bought a new pair of shoes! Didn’t realise but mum said we were looking at shoes for around 1 hour. Haha, I was going around randomly trying shoes.

Went back home and watched the NDP parade. I must say this year’s is not bad at all! :D And freak, it would be so much funner if I was at the floating platform! So lets hope I’ll get tickets next year (:

After that was singapore idol. Some were just really funny. Then after that was community shield – manu vs chelsea! Kind of not hate manu THAT much now because ronaldo is gone and there’s owen and jonny evans! But of course it is still the team I hate the most and I will miss ronaldo and his antics.

Dad was like scolding ben foster, manu’s goalie and evra when he kicked the penalty. “WAH, KICK LIKE MY SCHOOL TEAM” Even I was sure I could do better than that. Cech, the chelsea goalie, could even catch the ball.

MY SOCCER WEEKEND IS COMING BACK NEXT WEEK!! :D This ends my boring weekends. Too bad I cannot see xabi alonso playing anymore ): Btw, he looks horrible in a real madrid jersey. SIGH. Both him and kaka will overpower ronaldo, most definitely (: LIVERPOOL!!!

Oh man, I have many things to blog about but it's either that I'm too lazy or not in the mood or it just has been really busy these days! And my blogger looks weird now.

Racial harmony last week was great! Althogh it wasn't interesting because of H1N1, we still had lessons. But the whole class wore ethinc costumes (: and we won the phototaking contest!!

Last weekend was awesome too! :D Mainly because liverpool was down in town!

SATURDAY, 250709

Went down to singapore river to watch the liverpool team cruising down!! :D We had to wait quite a long time for them. There was this group of liverpool fans who were really enthu! They kept singing the torres song and all the other, but we all waited really patiently (:

Then, this guy, who wore a manu jersey, walked by and they were all jeering. He just smiled and continued to walk. My dad wanted to wear a manu jersey but couldn't find it in the monring and he refused to wait by the river with me but instead sit at the food court @ central, in the comfort of the aircon. The weather that day was freaking hot!!

After that, we heard someone screaming so we all started screaming too, thinking liverpool was nearing already. But it turned out to be someone taking the bungee jumping opposite the river to be screaming. This japanese boy was sitting beside me while waiting! He was super cute!! Haha, he was carrying his match attax collection. They are like trading cards with all the different players.

And finally, the boats came. The whole crowd was screaming! There were even people running along, like following the boats. They were rather far away from us, but they came back again and they were like quite near!! Everyone was screaming TORRES!!!!! And then, he waved and smiled. He's like so cute because he looked shy when he got all the attention. The whole liverpool team are just so cute! I was like videoing the whole thing. And when I watched the video again, I couldn't believe I was screaming like crazy.

Met my cousin, dylan, the liverpool fan and nicole and their mum. He was wearing ferrari raikkonen shirt!! WE HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON (: He was sad that gerrard didn't come. If gerrard had come, it would have been perfect. But I'm glad he's declared not guilty!

Went to orchard ion after that because mum wanted to check it out. Was SUPER DUPER CROWDED.

Went back home and checked whether my ipod touch was working. Because it died on me a few days before!! And it miraculously worked!! HAHAHA I WAS SO FREAKING HAPPY!!! THAT DAY WAS A HAPPY DAY INDEED.

SUNDAY, 260709

Watched the liverpool vs singapore match on TV. 5-0! It was actually quite a boring match but I guess the setting made it interesting. And I'm glad torres and alonso played. Haha, cannot believe yingyin videod torres when he was topless and slonso scratching his chest hair. It was really funny. I was like don't keep on showing torres leh, show like someone else!! Lucky bennett got torres shirt! Haha.

Janine watched the match too. The first time she watched a whole match and she thought it was quite interesting. Haha, I was actually going to fall asleep during the first half. Oh and nemeth is going to be the next big thing!! :D Haha, anw janine thinks torres is cute too. And amelia likes liverpool's motto, you'll never walk alone (: They are all liverpool fans now! :D TSK TSK VALERIE.

Lucky christine got free tickets to watch the match. She gave me the liverpool team poster and gave yingyin the programme booklet. The poster is now pasted right in front of my study table. So once I look up, I will admire it for a while (:

Watched F1 after that. Hamilton won, at least raikkonen got second! And I hope massa is able to race again though I don't really support him. And schumacher will be taking over him. Really interesting (:

The next few days were spent rushing my geog pt. Thanks yingyin for helping me print!! My stupid printer is going nuts. Sometimes only got yellow ink, sometimes pink and blue.

Janine and yingyin were going gaga over torres. Huiqing claims he's old and ugly. Quek said gerrard was better looking, which I agreed. Haha, gerrard has so much charisma. Haiya anw, torres and gerrard are both cute! Haha cannot stand their super gay celebratory poses.

And I don't know how to choose my options!!

Hello!

Realised I haven't blogged for a really long time.

H1N1 measures are really irritating!! ): Now, there's no aircon! Seriously makes people more sleepy and hence, they can't concentrate in class! Biggest problem I haven't overcome yet. Everyone is complaining how hot it is but we are certainly saving the environment (: Oh, tables in class and the canteen are also separated. Now in class, to my left is yingyin, in front is christine, right is quek and at the back is hejia. Haha, social distancing is especially important!

School's fine. Oh finally started on geog pt, aim to complete most of it by this weekend. HOPEFULLY!! I think I'm just going to research as I do the newsletter. Loads of homework too! ): and I'm clueless during some lessons.

Over the weekend, watched harry potter on ch5 and F1 german grand prix!! WEBBER, cannot believe it's his first win in like 130 races. Totally supporting vettel to knock button off the driver's championships!! Ferrari and redbull rocks! :D Had family dinner on sunday too.

Revamped my iTunes. Okay not exactly revamped, it's actually a whole new one for the new laptop. Haven't transferred the music from my previous laptop yet though. But discovered some good music

Brian Littrell. His christian songs are good! (: They are deep in meaning and are pleasant to hear as well. At first, I didn't know it was a contemporary christian artist. Btw, he's in backstreet boys. Haha, but he released a solo album.

Torres, his wife, olalla and their new born daughter, nora! They are so sweet!! :D Went to find the video again to show yingyin so I watched it again. My heart is feeling the warmth!! Yesterday's wimbledon final was EPIC. Federer against Roddick.

Wasn't really supporting anyone in the beginning, just that I wanted a really exciting final, like a five set thriller and I got what I wanted. You know like I wanted roddick to win the first set and federer to win the second. And by the fifth set, I decided to support RODDICK! He just won a fan in me.

And my parents were betting on this match. Mum took roddick and dad took federer.

The final set was crazy. No tie breaks so the match seemed to be going on forever, totally depriving me of sleep. Mum died halfway and went to sleep early. Federer finally won it 16-14. The commentators said roddick was the better player but federer was lucky esp the 2nd set! ARGH, kudos to federer though. I do like federer, he's nice and humble, just that I don't like people to keep on winning.

Roddick looked so sad, like he was almost going to cry and I felt so sad for him too! Went to the wimbledon finals 3 times, all against federer and lost the 3 times. And this time it was so wasted; he was so close yet so far.

Haha, but he's really funny and cute in a way during interviews. Like in his semi against andy murray, who is the crowd favourite because he's playing in his country, he said in the press conference that when the crowd goes go andy, he would pretend that it was for him, because his name is andy too.

Looking at some of the photos from the match and the winners party. I think roddick's wife is pretty and federer looks good in a suit, haha reminds me of the rolex ad that they show all the time during the matches. Oh and gavin rossdale sat beside federer's wife. I was wondering who that guy was because he looked so familiar. Btw zimbio is a good source for photos :D

The only thing I follow for ayg is swimming. Haha, it's like the only kind of interesting one. Was watching tom daley diving the other day and I'm so in awed by him!! And I realised most divers have damn hot bodies, GOSH.

Week one of school was horrendous ): First day of school and there was so much work already. 2 PTs which I completely haven't started yet. Hopefully, I will find the motivation to do so because both of them are kind of hard ):

GOSH! Moonlight resonance is so AWESOME! :D borrowed the discs from amelia and watched all the 40 episodes over the past 3 days. And because of that, I barely did anything else. And because it's in cantonese, I have to keep my eyes on the tv to look at the english subtitles. But the storyline and acting are both simply good. That's why hk dramas are so much better than singapore ch8 dramas (:

Went for sl at a childcare centre on thursday and friday. And the childcare centre is like just right next to my ahma's house. Haha.

Michael Jackson passed away a few days back. It's quite sad ): His music is good; he is like topping all the itunes charts, from music to albums to music videos. But his looks are really horrible, he made his face so white and his nose is like crooked and I thought he looked quite cute when he was young.

Watched i love you, man with my parents on tuesday at vivo. It's a NC16 show and there were so many sexual references when they talk. Was so funny!

Went for sakae sushi buffet with amelia, janine, jenny, valerie and jenny's brother. I was so nice and met up with valerie early. She was so tired so went to bata to sit and then we went to kopitiam to sit. Haha, we were so hungry but we resisted until the buffet. Stayed at sakae from 3-6. Ate so much until I had a tummy bulge that even my mum noticed and kept on teasing me about it.

School reopenes tmr! Certainly not in a mood to go back to school but I guess I need to get my brains working again.

YESTERDAY!

Went for the interunit UG bowling comp finals! The team of cheryl koh, sherm and myself. We managed to clinch 4th and got ourselves a team trophy and individual trophies as well (: We were like hoping so hard to get into the top 5 so that we could get indv trophies. The challenge trohpy was huge I tell you. Gosh.

Went to orchid country club early in the morning. We were like the earliest there, even the organisers - HCI weren't there yet.

During the preliminaries, I guess we were very lucky, with quite a few strikes! :D The first time I got a turkey and over 100 points in total. We seriously didn't think we could get into the finals. But during the finals yesterday, I think we did well too (: The players of kent ridge on the next lane had their own bowling shoes and balls okay. And on the other side was nanyang who seriously expect too much from themselves and still aren't happy when they hit pins. Our balls get into the gutter and we still laugh.

Our 20 bucks to enter the comp was definitely worth it. Plus, there was buffet lunch! :D And I was in charged of sending an email to the whole unit about our achievement and to encourage them to join these competitions because I'm the team captain. Haha, shamaine said it was a good email.

Chem tuition was cancelled that day.

At 10+, my parents and I went to lagoon hawker centre to eat satay bee hoon! Remember I was supposed to treat them like long ago because liverpool beat manu. Haha, the queue wasn't very long! (:

Friday TV is now so boring ever since season 4 of ghost whisperer ended ): And ch55 doesn't have nice HK shows either.

OMG I think torres is so sweet!! :D He wrote this on his twitter

I know torres english kind of sucks but this is totally melting my heart but that's one reason why I support liverpool! (:

And nadal pulled out of wimbledon! ): Now, one reason less to watch the wimbledon although I still think I will watch it. But I'm so sad he's not playing. Hope he recovers from his knee injury soon.

TIOMAN TRIP!

Borrowed a haversack, like those kind backpackers carry, from my cousin. It is actually quite comfortable to carry although it’s heavy. I was so damn lazy to pack but my mum finally got me to do so like 4 days before.

Was quite excited before the trip! Janine was very very excited because she had 2 dreams. Both dreams were on the day she was supposed to go for the trip, she forgot to pack and ended up not bringing a lot of things. Haha.

Was also praying hard that I didn’t get my period until at least the 2nd day (snorkeling). Of course I also prayed that I had a safe and enjoyable trip!

Didn’t take much photos so most of the photos are from others (: Btw, my captions are first, then photos.

MONDAY, 080609

Reported to school at 8. Janine came to my house so my mum could fetch us there because her ahma couldn’t fetch her. Reached pretty early, saw the instructors and they were like angmoh!! Very cool.

I was in group 2, together with janine, yihong, ivalyn, wenyan, abigail, yifei, deepa and jinghan. And our group teacher was ms tan. We thought how come we so sway, at least get one of the male teachers la. The other teachers were mr lim cp, mr evans and mr de souza. But soon we realised it was a blessing in disguise, she is a really nice and funny teacher (: We started calling her chiobu.

There are 4 instructors who followed us, basically one to each group – ash, ben, megan and rich. The instructor assigned to my group was ben.

One noisy group with arguably the most soft-spoken instructor among the lot = a well-balanced group! :D Haha.

Sat with janine in the bus.

There was a long jam at malaysia’s immigration. Like the bus didn’t move for 5 minutes and I think we waited for at least an hour there. Tried to sleep in the meantime. At singapore’s immigration, there was also a slight jam.

In the bus, wenyan managed to finish her math. Very pro. Yihong had her organic grape juice, omg all over her is organic. Haha. Yihong and wenyan were also doing chinese, making up the most ridiculous zao ju.

And she has SLEEPING REFLEXES!! Like she was holding her phone while sleeping, then she dropped it to part of her arm. Then, wenyan took her phone and yihong's palm opened, so wenyan placed the phone back in yihong's palm and she closed her hand to hold the phone properly while still sleeping.

The trip to mersing was very bumpy. Roads in malaysia are really bad. Had no time to stop over for lunch so had lunch at the ferry terminal. Lunch was pretty cool. There was macaroni, chicken, pizza, salad, fruits and mango pudding (:

Mr de was like oh I discovered there's mango pudding in the fruits box and only nice people have it. Then we were like we also have mango pudding! Janine, yihong and I shared a box. And then he told that to mr evans too and he said I don’t like mango pudding anyway. Haha.

Mr lim was talking to his Malaysian friends. He said in the briefing that he has been to tioman for like 11 times.

Sat in between janine and yihong during the ferry ride. They showed mall cop on the tv but couldn’t really see because of reflection so went to sleep instead (:

Reached genting, tioman. Walked to melina beach where our resort was. Luckily, we didn’t have to lug our luggages along. They were transported there by boat!

Because ben had to follow with the boat, we had to split into 2 groups. Ivalyn, janine, wenyan, yihong and I followed mr lim’s group. The instructor, rich, talked about stuff along the way.

Finally reached melina beach! :D

Melina beach resort was basically the only thing on the beach. It is very ecofriendly. You bathe in freezing cold water. I literally jumped around while bathing. Haha, and they encouraged you to not use the aircon which we didn’t use! :D

After dinner, had a presentation about deep and shallow seas, to prepare us for snorkeling the next day. All these lesssons are conducted in the dining area (:

Had group talk every night after we finish all our activities (: Talked about our day and the next day, discussion of the surveys, sometimes just talk crap.

That night, janine got her period! Very sway! We both were praying that ours won’t come.

Wenyan wore her dora the explorer nightdress! Haha. You will see the picture of her wearing that later.

Slept at the top of the bunk bed with wenyan below me. Took quite a while to sleep the first night because it was kind of warm and there were insect noises. Like suddenly there will be a lizard noise. It's quite irritating at times.

It rained damn heavily when we were sleeping, so it woke me up. But it’s the only time it rained throughout the trip so thank god for the good weather (: And it was surprisingly cold at night, so we had to wake up and cover ourselves with blanket.

TUESDAY, 090609

SNORKELING

Breakfast everyday was served at 8. And I think I’m always one of the latest to wake up, like I wait for everyone to brush their teeth and then, I get off the bed.

In the morning, did snorkeling at melina beach :D Water went into my mouth at some points and into my googles too. However, after much practice and adjustment, I got used to snorkeling. Did 2 sessions of snorkeling at melina. Waters weren’t really clear due to the rain last night.

Ms tan was tired after the first session so she didn’t go for the 2nd session. We did fish ID there, like we had to identify the different fishes using the keys. It was quite hard because some fishes were just too tiny or they look alike.

Then, mr evans decided to come over to splash us.

Had lunch before heading to paya beach by motor boat. There was one part that was really really pretty. So many fishes and pretty corals!! :D We were all so wowed.

We saw schools of yellow-lined scads.

And nemos too! :D

We also snorkeled in the mangroves. Visibility is like zero, couldn't see a thing!!

Many brought disposable water cams but I didn’t though. Ms tan was very smart to put her camera in a ziploc. Photo taken with her camera!

Oh and we just pee in the water like that. Haha, I think I did that quite a few times.

Wenyan and janine were so noisy that day. They were singing crazily, from the school song to dedication. Also, we were laughing at ben’s red nose! Haha, really looks like rudolph and like no matter how much sunblock he puts, it still becomes red.

Had to wear life jackets while snorkeling and it gave me abrasions on my neck! And it totally constricts you, like you want to go down and have a closer look but you can’t, but oh wells, it keeps you afloat and safe (:

Oh was wearing a stripped long sleeve shirt and I was so scared I had a stripped tan after that. I remember charlotte had that during obs. Janine and I were also so scared about our ears because charlotte kena boiling blisters on her ears during obs so we applied sunblock!

After that, Ms tan treated us to icecream and snacks! :D Took a motor boat back to melina beach. But while waiting for the boat to arrive, we took some photos (:

Had to wait outside our room for the shower so we won’t stink up the whole room. Haha, jinghan just took off her outer clothes, revealing her swimming costume. I think wenyan also. Haiya, I didn’t find any photo of her on facebook ):

After dinner, had a presentation about rainforests, mangroves and rainforest survey techniques to prepare us for the trek the next day.

Melina beach had a turtle hatchery and before dinner, there was a green turtle hatchling that appeared. Released it but it couldn’t really find its way into the ocean so they decided to release it the next day instead.

Teachers complained that our group was too noisy that day so we had to keep our noise level down the next day, which we certainly did but still complains came. Maybe they are just jealous about our group dynamics :D

Had supper (: Cup noodles that wenyan and janine brought. Haha, wenyan brought 4 and janine brought 3 but that was the only day we had cup noodles.

Then, there were more turtle hatchlings!! Like 70 + but it was of another species - Hawksbill. It was a rare sight okay and we were lucky to catch it :D And the next day, we decided to wake up early to release the turtle hatchlings! :D

WEDNESDAY, 100609

Woke up early to release the turtle hatchlings. They were so so adorable!! :D and it was quite an experience too.

Had a small photoshoot after that. Haha. Dunno where yihong went, maybe she couldn't stand us.

Roommates!

TREKKING

Packed lunch for the day. Reminded me of wales :D But I think packed sandwich at wales was nicer (: Oh I dropped my butter spread bread on the floor so I had to throw it away ): SO WASTE FOOD I KNOW!!

Ms tan wore this shirt that said “I’m hot enough to a pain in the ass”. HAHA. Janine and I wanted to wear class shirt but couldn’t because we had to wear dark-coloured shirts ):

Trekked to paya beach. Ben just had to put the bucket there and janine was saying how convenient it is for him to pee in there. Haha, just carry the bag in front.

At paya beach, rested for a while, drank 100 plus to boost energy levels and had a toilet break before embarking on a long hike to the forest.

Ben talked about stuff along the way.

Did surveys at the secondary forest.

Did quadrat survey – count seedlings and saplings. Was so hard because couldn’t count the ginger species. Plus, there were so man and all the plants look the same.

Did leaf litter survey too!

Janine was imitating ben’s accent and he was like I don’t sound russian. By then, I think we already knew ben’s favourite word was COOL and he says HUH in a unique way too.

Stopped for lunch (: We were so terrible hungry way before that but the lunch place was like miles away. Haha.

And janine suspected that ash and ben being together because he kept a biscuit for her when I told her he gave one biscuit to each of the instructors and it’s just that she was the latest to arrive.

After lunch, we had to go down this very steep slope, with the help of the rope. Haha, rich had to hold on to wenyan's bag!

Went to the primary rainforest where we did surveys there as well.

Wenyan and janine sat on this rock and then suddenly, there was this lizard. Ivalyn then was like LIZARD!! Janine screamed like nobody’s business, I think she scared all the animals away.

Heh, we managed to complete our surveys really quickly :D

Wenyan’s shoe sole came off and ben came to the rescue! It is such a smart way to tie the sole with shoelaces.

We saw many things in the forest. Leaves with many holes :D I think this photo is very cool!

At the final part of the trek, my legs were all going jelly and going all weak, especially my right ankle which I have sprained before, that I think I tripped/ fell like 7 times. Haha, seriously couldn’t help it but no serious injuries resulted (: But I got everyone so worried about me.

Janine couldn’t resist her curiosity and finally asked ben the question “Is ash your girlfriend?” And he went everytime they ask if ash is rich’s or mine girlfriend. So janine ask “So is ash your wife?” And he went “yeah, ash’s my wife” in a really amusing way. But apparently, they are together, I have no idea about that. And we always talk about ben in front of him in chinese so he doesn’t understand anything so he will be looking quite lost.

Group 3 & 4 had to stay back to do their demographic surveys while group 1 & 2 returned to melina beach.

I didn’t have time to shower before dinner so people had to endure the smelly me during dinner and presentation. I’m like always one of the last to shower so they decided to let me shower first the next day! :D

In the meantime, went to the beach to play ball with the sec 3s. I remember it was very sunny and the sand was burning hot. And then, jinghan and yingwen banged into each other.

After presentation about coastal ecosystems and survey techniques, had group heart to heart talk at night. It got a little emotional at some part. Haiya, teachers complained our group was noisy and blah blah but ms tan didn’t make it seem like a big deal but we were talking rubbish at some points, like about mr lim boon tat’s pretty girlfriend! Seriously, I was so shocked when I saw his girlfriend. Hahaha. We were the last group to leave.

And my period came that night ):

THURSDAY, 110609

Woke up early to do seashore survey. Wasn’t really awake and the sky was still so dark. So armed with torchlights, we had to identify substrates and identify certain organisms in a quadrat, which we couldn’t find at all although we saw other organisms like shrimps. Maybe because we were doing the disturbed shore! The rocky shore and quadrat/ substrate really reminded of labrador park and seagrass!

Bending at various points was tiring, like training my thigh muscles. And we had to identify substrates at 101 points! Ivalyn and I did the job well! :D

After that, went around seeing some organisms (: Ben was looking for a mantis shrimp but he couldn’t find it but instead he stepped on some fish and killed it. But the mantis shrimp looks like that.

After breakfast, discussed/ collated results from seashore survey. We were wondering why all the substrates don’t add up to 100 and we counted again and again until the smart me realised that we did the survey 101 times.

Had time to spare before we had to present our results so we headed to the beach to play frisbee. The freaking hot sand was once again burning my soles. Jinghan wanted to catch the frisbee that was heading to the sea and then, mr evans came rushing for it too and jinghan fell into the sea. Haha.

Learnt how to dig turtle holes! It’s quite tough you know and a turtle takes around 3-4 hours to dig their hole to lay their eggs (:

During that time, janine was like stucking up to mr lim like how she does to every other teacher in an effort to increase her bio marks until mr lim was so disgusted by her. Haha, the bio teachers collected back our papers to remark.

Group 1 & 2 did our demographic surveys in genting in the afternoon.

Asking the locals questions were quite tough because they didn’t really understand english and we had to ask things like coral reefs and mangroves. But we amused them with our basic malay until they were like can you ask me in malayu? But we did learn some malay (: if not janine would only know thank you in malay which she says to everyone although at times, it's not even applicable.

And by that time, ben still hasn’t remembered all our names especially those chinese ones. Haha. Then, jinghan was like just call be chanteh (pretty in malay).

After we came back to melina beach, we had a chance to go snorkel again but I had my period and I didn’t really want to go into the sea. Hey but heard from others it was a beautiful sight, much better than the other day. Oh wells, we had fun taking photos.

The lighting wasn’t good so mr de told us that he would take photos later. In the meantime, we were skipping stones, taught by mr evans. There aren’t much suitable flat and round stones to allow us to do that but I think we all succeeded in some point.

Then, janine’s blister was so painful that we went to look for mr de for a plaster. Haha, he was the first aid person I guess. And then, there was this beautiful sight of the sky and mr de was like rushing janine who blocked his way so that he could capture the moment.

Ms tan wrote, sorry for all the trouble the girls have caused, they are not like that in school, you must have charmed them OMG, but we wrote loads of crap from his red nose to chanteh and what not.

While ben was reading the card, we continued to tease him. “Aww ben, are you crying?” Then, he’ll be like no. “Don’t bluff, you must be so touched” Haha.

At night, in our room, a huge cockroach suddenly landed on janine’s arm and she screamed!! I freaked out too because my biggest fear is probably cockroaches and that one was so big! Wenyan swept the whole place in an effort to find the cockroach if not we would not be able to sleep in peace but I guess it escaped.

FRIDAY, 120609

Woke up early to see the releasing of turtles hatchlings yet again. It’s just such a sweet sight (:

I think mr lim was just so funny throughout the trip. He laughs at us and will be smiling in glee when his group gets to go first or is advantaged in any way. During the releasing of the turtle hatchlings, he was like talking to them.

There weren’t any seats in the ferry so we got to sit in open air! :D But before the ferry reached, we had to get back down, had no idea why. So mr de, janine, yinwen and I played taiti! :D We only played a game though ):

We were one of the last few to get on the bus so janine and I had to sit right at the back. And mr lim had no choice but to sit with us too! Haha.

Couldn't sleep in the bus because the ride was so bumpy! Like whenever I was going to fall asleep, then BOOM, I jerk up. There was one time, my whole bum left the seat. And sitting right at the back makes the journey even worse, even drinking water was so difficult.

My sleeping hours have all gone haywire. I sleep after midnight and wake up early afternoon. On monday, my parents went to ahma house and kept calling but I was still sleeping. When I finally woke up at 2 and called them, they were speeding home and I laughed it off. But tmr, I have no choice to wake up early for bowling comp :D

Was so bored yesterday afternoon that I went to watch HSM3 on youtube. Haha. And at night, I watched some really back-dated liverpool match on tv as well as project runway. Project runway is not a bad show (:

Got my retainers on tuesday. They are very very annoying and troublesome because you have to take them out when you are eating. It's quite uncomfortable too but I guess I have gotten quite used to it already.

All in all, this week has been pretty boring other than going for a walk at ecp, swimming, ikea. I think IKEA is awesome; they have so much cool stuff and they are so environmentally friendly.

My parents are supposed to leave for bangkok this saturday, leaving me home alone because I was supposed to go for perak and it was cancelled ): But now, H1N1 is on the rise in thailand so I think they are cancelling their trip. The person said if they wanted to postpone, they had to pay $300+ and they only paid $300+ for the tickets so I guess their $300+ is going to be wasted.

Oh yes! My new com is so much faster now but I'm still figuring out about my iTunes and my music in my old one ): And dad is complaining that my old com is very slow! Haha, it's not that bad okay since I lived with it for quite long (:

And I got a new phone and new laptop, though I'm using my old laptop now. Today is my dad's birthday and ~~tmr is father's day, totally a dad weekend.~~ OMG, I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT IT WAS FATHER'S DAY and it was past midnight, luckily I haven't wished happy father's day to my dad.

First day of my holidays was GOOOD! (: My cousin, dylan, also had a day off so he came to my house. My mum owed him a present for good results, even I don't have a present for my good results. Anw he's 8.

I was sleeping when he came to my house so I was woken up because he came. He was wearing a liverpool kit and I was wearing a liverpool shirt when sleeping. So it was quite funny.

I wanted to watch Britain's Got Talent but he wanted to play games on my com so I didn't have the chance to watch ): He played some batman game.

After, we went to united square to the build-a-bear workshop. Dylan wanted a dog so my mum bought it for him la. Hahaha, I think build-a-bear workshop is quite fun but really lame. After he chose the dog, you had to put the fluff and a "heart". But, before you put the heart, you had to make a wish and kiss it. And then, you had to "shower" the dog, I dunno la, was so stupid. He got skates for his dog so he could like pull it and he named it torres. He had another bear named gerrard so he decided to name the dog torres because gerrard and torres are good friends! So cute right! :D And before you get the dog right, you had to say some pledge. Hahaha. was so damn dumb, even he said it was so lame.

After that, I had to go to HC for inter-unit bowling comp briefing. Met shamaine at the bus stop. When she entered my car, she didn't even know dylan was there until she turned. Anw, the briefing was so waste time! They could just simply email us the details. The school is really big though. And the canteen food was really good, like food you can find in the hawker centre.

Went to bugis after that. Dylan brought his dog around, which certainly attracted much attention. His mum came to fetch him after that since she works around there.

Met amelia, hejia, valerie and yingyin at crystal jade la mian xiao long bao. Yes, we ate there AGAIN. Jenny came afterwards because she had tuition. At first, she couldn't come because her dad came back from china with flu-like symptoms but TOUCHWOOD.

Walked around bugis after dinner, met with jenny before going to yingyin's house. We were having a SLEEPOVER!! I carried her dog and she puked. I wasn't really that freaked out but it was the first time she puked and the first I'm carrying her so haha. And valerie, jenny and hejia were scared of dogs! Prince is such a guai dog! Watched tv while playing with it.

Went to yingyin's room to play wii!! I think I totally suck at playing wii. Like guitar hero, I cannot coordinate properly. And my arm ached after playing wii tennis. Jenny, as usual, was the first to sleep but obviously couldn't really sleep because the wii was super loud.

We got hungry halfway through the night so we ordered mcdelivery. We ate while watching some sadistic movie on tv. That movie was all about torture and had no plot. Haha.

Slept at around 4.30 and woke up at 10. I think I was the 2nd last to wake up before amelia. Went to have roti prata for breakfast, apparently the best prata in jalan kayu. Watched BGT after we came back.

Valerie's mum was so kind to fetch amelia and me to bedok interchange! :D

I had a very long nap during the afternoon, around 5 hours. Hahaha.

IT'S THE JUNE HOLS! :D

There isn't school tmr because of security at shangri-la. But have bowling comp briefing in the afternoon with shamaine. Dunno who put us as team leaders la.

YESTERDAY

Had npcc, elections to choose the new exco. Didn't manage to stay back to hear the nominees speeches because I had SPM duty. My job was to take charge of a class 405 and make sure teachers don't take too much time talking to the parents. Many parents crashed in. Mr lim had no parents seeing him at all, it was quite funny. Actually one parent wanted to meet with him but he was gone.

406 was like crazy, like so many parents came! And eenette was so busy, was quite funny. The parents even had to fill up the chairs outside the 405 classroom.

Mum and janine's mum went in together to meet ms lim. They were in there for so long that I got quite worried. Anw, they said we were chatty and blah blah. My mum met with the chinese teacher too.

After my duty was over, joined my mum for the reception. I wanted to take the food but I was so paiseh to do it so mum went to take for me and tzegek! But in the end, there was so much food leftover so helpers could all eat so I went take again.

Had to wait for mum to finish her talk. In the meantime, was at the npcc room with cheryl koh, sherm and szemin. We were collating the election results. But nothing is confirmed yet and I'm not supposed to reveal anything.

Didn't do much there. Wanted to finish my argument map but lazy to go to a classroom for a com. Cheryl koh was panicking with her own argument map.

Fetched janine's mum, cheryl koh and her mum home. Got home at around 10 and slept at 12 after finishing my argument map. Thanks yingyin for spotting all the mistakes (:

Woke up and mum was showing me the barcelona vs manu champions league. She taped it but she refused to show me the results. So she let me see the goals. And I know you know I'm happy that manu didn't win.

Got back physics SPA! Really satisfied about my marks :D Oh got back bio on tuesday. I guess it was okay, only that that stupid stem cell question totally pulled me down!! I got like 1.5/7 for that question.

Had class party today too. Mr ng brought a lot of food.

I better be productive during the holidays. So far, I haven't touched my bag yet. Just watched britain's got talent! :D Can't believe they didn't show semi yesterday night (UK time) because of the champs league final. Watched other random videos too.

Totally love my awesome class <3 I've been with you guys for like around 1.5 years and it has been quite an experience! Though teachers say we are rowdy and noisy, which I agree, but it is such a fun class :D

YESTERDAY

Got back ss results and it was disappointing ): Thought I could have done better but oh wells, shall not ponder upon it.

Had only 2 blocks of lesson. After that, open house preparation and nco camp meeting. Hanissa and I were sitting at our booth, pinning the stuff on and singing some kris allen song and swaying to it. Then suddenly, mr leek came and he laughed at us. And I signed on hanissa's under sole of her shoes!! :D

Went out with amelia, janine and valerie to ps after that. Jenny and yingyin came later. Had lunch at mahanttan fish market. That stupid janine wanted to take her phone but instead got her finger in the mayo. Damn dumb.

She went to buy her materials for her wallet business from made with love and spotlight. I can't stand how pretty the papers and stuff from made with love are!! ARGH, but they are so expensive. Met chiam, shit and charlotte at spotlight. Val had to leave early because she had training. Btw, chiam and I are her consultants for the wallet business.

Went to tampines to meet my parents. Finally bought new school shoes, have been looking for one because the sole of my current one is like falling apart.

Called yingyin to ask her whether she wanted to watch liverpool coming to singapore match. Then, I dunno what happened, she started screaming and the call cut off. But she called back and said her dog was running away. After much persuasion, she said she could go watch!! So I went into courts and bought tickets. BUT the tickets for the east stand were sold out!!! And the seats left available were only the 2 sides. You cannot really see much from the 2 sides right? I wanted to go to elsewhere to buy that section of tickets but the person said the tickets were sold out by 1. So even if I go to other places, the possibility of that tickets being sold out is high. I was quite sad after that, haiya maybe I will win meet and greet tickets from some lucky draw! Hahaha.

Went to swim after that. The pool was so crowded that I hate to like swerve through the people. At that time, my ex swimming instructor was also conducting lessons there. He kept on breaking my momentum!! Talk to me about random stuff. And at one time, he went to pull me over to compete with his students and made me start last. I refused to swim. So irritating la!! Was so terribly hungry after that.

TODAY!

Went for open house. Wanted to ask my parents to come so they could take the pencils for me but I think they only give the goodie bags to the P6 students. But anw, the pencils aren't that pretty, the word font is just not nice. At least got quite a colourful badge, haha.

Walked around the different booths. I think the science section is very fun!! :D It's very interactive. Talked to quite a few people I met along the way. Went home after that.

New episode of britain's got talent coming out tmr! Also meeting up for philo discussion at national library tmr.

And kris allen sang god of this city, one my favourite christian songs :D And he sang with such passion that just touches the heart. Now, I like him even more.

KRIS ALLEN!! :D

Just look at his shocked look! Kris is definitely the dark horse in the competition but he deserves to win. Haha, it's so funny to see all the facebook status KRIS, ADAM, KRIS, ADAM. Yesterday, janine and I were like having a convo, commenting on her facebook status.

After physics, we went to the com and checked the results but they weren't out yet. And there were like so many people crowding around the com, so they decided to flash in on the projector. Kept on refreshing and refreshing the live blogging website. And then when we finally knew kris won, I think I was the first to scream!!

And you know friends, they were showing it live on tv in the canteen. So all the lucky people who were having their recess block got to watch the results live on tv! We should have went down to watch la since mr tee was late to class. I feel so wasted now. ARGH.

My mum also smsed me the results. She actually typed kris name already but dunno what happened, she too kanchiong or something, it disappeared when the results were announced, so she had to sms all over again. Haha and she thought it was CHRIS.

I told shamaine to watch american idol yesterday and she said she regretted not watching!! Hahaha, and I told her it was too late. But she liked adam. I think based on first impression, you will like adam because he's good but as weeks go by, it gets a little boring. And shamaine was disappointed today, watch one night then like that already.

But I'm sure both kris and adam will do well in the music industry, like david cook and archuleta. Oh hope kris comes to singapore, like david archuleta!! :D Anw, I like the way how kris and adam are so supportive of each other, it's lovely to see (:

I thought the results show was really really good! :D There were david cook, jason mraz to name a few. And katrina darrell and kara dioguardi!! Kara can totally sing way better than her and she has a good body too. It was so funny to see the 2 male judges widen their eyes when they saw katrina in a bikini and I think she went for breast enlargements.

No boundaries by kris/ adam is currently on replay on my iTunes! I think both of their versions are great! :D And it's such an inspirational song though rather forgettable.

Can't wait for the next season to come!! (: It just keeps getting better and better!

You shouls watch Britain's Got Talent now!! Like all the episodes!! :D They are so ridiculously funny :D Watched the latest episode on the day they came out on youtube (episode 6) If you don't have the time, watch aiden davis, the very very pro dancer. I'm so in awe of him! :D Air-O-Smith and eugene the librarian the funniest ever! It's not all about susan boyle.

Britain's got talent should seriously air on tv!! But luckily, they are uploaded on youtube if not we'll be missing all the talent and humour. Like after watching the new episode, I will be awaiting for the next episode. And I think valerie and I are so influential. More and more people from our class are watch BGT! Janine just asked me for the url.

Tmr is the AMERICAN IDOL FINAL!! Cannot wait to watch tmr, hopefully I will show home on time for the 6pm show on star world. SO EXCITING!! And I have influenced many to follow the show (: Last time, I just talked to hanissa about american idol, now can talk to more people about it.

I have been watching american idol since season 2. And now it's season 8. Maybe I didn't watch like every single episode, but at least I follow it. And I guess it is getting more and more competitive over the years. Like last time, it was quite easy to predict who the winner will be. But last year, david cook and archuleta was like quite even competition. And this year, KRIS ALLEN AND ADAM LAMBERT.

At first, I was neutral between adam and kris. But now I support KRIS more. Because my mum supported kris ever since he sang to make you feel my love. I LOVE THIS SONG! (: And you know how I like to support underdogs and he's such a soulful singer who knows how to play the guitar and piano! Plus, he is cute! Haha. And I think lambert is too overrated.

And kris songs are on repeat on my ipod, iTunes everywhere (: I actually liked all the songs he sang throughout american idol.

Can't wait to watch tmr!! :D

And tickets for liverpool against singapore at the indoor stadium are on sale on friday!! :D Though the tickets are pretty expensive, $88/ $188. Very auspicious numbers there. Not sure if yingyin is going, was supposed to go with her. But I THINK I WILL BE GOING, will be such an experience! Makes me happy just thinking about it.

Started on a new topic - Tourism for geog. Quite an interesting topic (: Haha, and the top 5 tourist countries - US, Italy, France, China, Spain (random order), the only one I haven't been to is SPAIN! Actually, I want to go to spain! I want to go to japan too.

I'm so sorry sherm for not being able to accompany you to the swearing in with the sec ones ): I had stomach aches on and off through out school so decided to ask mum to fetch me right after school. But by that time, I didn't have aches anymore but dunno when it will come back again.

My mum and I analysed the situation for like 20 mins in the car outside school. (yes, I know it reminds you of jenny) She kept on saying I was very irresponsible, told sherm I was going already then leave her all alone but then like what if the pains come again, then she already came all the way here. And then finally decided to just leave. Oh man I feel so guilty!! ): although sherm kept on saying never mind.

I'M SO HAPPY THAT GEOG IS OVER, although it was quite a bad paper overall but I should not think about it and enjoy my weekend! :D Haiya, there's still physics spa but no much studying involved.

Did okay for math though I could get 4 marks more for careless mistakes. The mistakes I made were STUPID. Was so angry with myself. Got back bio spa today and I'm satisfied with it.

After the geog paper, amelia, janine, yingyin and I went out! We went to raffles place because amelia wanted to collect her flats but the shop was closed so we went to eat at soup spoon first.

Had a hearty meal and couldn't eat much dinner after that though I asked my mum to cook less. Talked a lot there, I think we stayed in there for about 2 hours.

Went with amelia to collect her shoes after that! Janine was madly crazy over the shoes because they were so cute. During the mrt ride home, she kept seeing the shoes and gushing about it, like how she did with her pencilcase.

Amelia and yingyin also chopped marc jacobs shirts which are cute!

Dad fetched me back from the mrt (: Mum at first refused to fetch me but dad is so much nicer! But as I was waiting for him, I saw bus 31 arrive like immediately!! OMG, you know when I want to take the bus, bus 31 takes like forever to arrive. It's always like that you know, when you want to take the bus, it takes so long to come and when you are not taking, it just comes. IT'S SO IRRITATING.

Anw, my chem results has been really bad and my parents are actually finding all the possible ways to improve my chem, aka finding tuition. Hmm, not sure whether I really want that.

And man am I happy that KRIS TOGETHER WITH ADAM ARE IN THE FINALS OF AMERICAN IDOL!! :D Really really hope kris will sing the right song in the finals, like how he sang heartless!! INCREDIBLE. Like the whole class is supporting kris and yingyin being the only one supporting adam. Janine is like saying she wants to marry kris allen, and putting it everywhere on her msn nick, fb and she kept on singing heartless today.

Yeah, I agree that adam is a brilliant stage performer but I can't stand his appearance and his screaming, although it's not like danny! Adam is favourite to win this competition but kris will definitely put up to a great fight! OMG, can't wait for next week!! And the result show is at EIGHT AM. GOSH, don't feel like going to school on that day.

400th post!

2.4km run today was BAD. I can kiss my gold goodbye and it's the first time I'm not getting a gold for napfa. I was a little disappointed but don't worry, I don't really care about it anymore. And I thought I was doing well for the first 2 rounds but after that, I was like dying already. But I kind of expected it because I did not train at all and my stamina is just deproving year by year.

This morning, dad asked me to take it easy. And I was exhausted after that run. Hahaha, my mum accounted this to the very very hot and sunny weather and the fact that my period came. She insists that having your period affects your performance. Haha maybe it's true because it's like so damn uncomfortable!! And of course due to the fact that I didn't train at all and all of a sudden I just exert myself. Hence, she proposed my exercise routine to be running once and swimming once a week. We'll see how it goes.

Everytime pft ends, I tell myself that I will train hard to improve my fitness level but it the end, end up failing, probably worse each year. I think ever since I quit my swimming lessons, which I think are quite hardcore, my stamina has been dropping like mad. Maybe it's time to go back to swimming lessons or maybe that discipline to swim faster. But at the moment, I plan to put into effect my mum's proposed exercise routine during the june holidays or after this week. I better tell my mum to force me to exercise!! After all, it's all for my own good. You can continuously remind me too.

Applied lots of counterpain after I showered although the muscle aches haven't came yet but I'm sure they will be there tmr. Better apply first before I suffer even more tmr.

Watched american idol!!

KRIS ALLEN IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. When I heard he chose to sing heartless by kanye west, I was seriously quite shocked and quite worried for him at the same time. It's like such a difficult song to sing! But he TOTALLY ACED IT MAN!! :DD Really hope he gets into the final, together with adam lambert.

Adam is just such a stage performer and the high notes he manages to reach is incredible. And danny, I just don't really like him although his voice is good but I hope he gets eliminated tmr. Seriously, anyone can be out tmr. It's anyone's game.

And janine totally crushes on kris and wants to marry him so he will sing everyday to her. But sadly, he is already married!! My mum and I were arguing about the beauty of the wife. I said she was quite pretty and my mum insists she is not really and that she is fat!

Went to mr ng's wedding solemnization on sunday! It was pouring before that, fetched janine and her ah ma from bedok (hahaha, her ah ma wanted to go to bugis) and picked up jenny and amelia from bugis.

The whole ceremony was just amusing. Hahaha, and mr ng definitely cannot sing. He was so off key and off beat. Video on facebook. Some of the wedding photos were quite cool, and we were just laughing at some of them.

Haha, valerie talked to me about tweetdeck and I got so interested so I signed up and it's quite fun and interesting la. Plus, mr tee talked about it during his lesson about how technology has advanced and jenny, valerie and hanissa all have! Now, yingyin also have. And at first I took quite some time to get used to it, esp tweetdeck, but the twitter on the web is so much easier. Also, it's very interesting too see all the celebs tweet about stuff. Haha.

Because of swine flu, all the school overseas trips were going to be cancelled. But since the warning levels are going down, tioman is back on but perak trip is officially cancelled ): And yingyin's parents sadly don't allow her to go ):

NPCC day was yesterday and there was morning assembly all of the sudden and we already assumed there wasn't so there wasn't any formation in front of the school ): Haha, thought it was quite wasted since we practised already for a few trainings. So wore the uniform the whole day, yunshu didn't wear and jenny didn't come to school so I was the only one in class who wore.

Like 8 people left school early yesterday due to headache, flu, a few minor ones, also because yesterday's timetable was quite crap.

Ms kum was on MC today so mr jason ng took over. Haha, he's just so funny! He was solving some equation on the board and then in the end, he did a lot of times and ended up with the step. Haha, and he said ms chant, referring to ms kum because he was teaching about some "chant".

During assembly, mrs prama was talking about class cleanliness and ms lim kept on staring at us. She's so particular about class cleanliness that we all have to bring a new piece of rag now and she talks about it probably almost every lesson.

Got our class hoodie too! But the sizes seemed a little not right so we put them aside first.

Glad it's going to be a holiday on monday! :D

Didn't feel like doing anything productive so decided to blog (: Haha, I'm so glad 5 exams are already over although my efficiency rate in studying is like probably only 40%, because of so many distractions though I do concentrate properly the night before the exams, not exactly yesterday night because of the liverpool match and rome masters final but definitely the night before the math and chem exam day.

I was sitting in front of the tv, with bio notes on my lap and I barely touched/ looked at them. Mum was urging me to go back to my study table and study but I just remained there because how could I miss a liverpool match yeah? Stupid player went to tackle xabi alonso until he was brought out in a stretcher!! ARGH, great possibility that he won't play the rest of the season ): He better not leave liverpool!! And liverpool hit the woodwork THREE times, from long range efforts by gerrard and alonso but of course there were 3 goals scored to win the match! :D

I can't believe that both my parents bought CROC sandles, those ugly ones! GOSH, and they went out together wearing that on saturday.

Took my temperature THRICE today! Twice in school and once at the dental clinic. You had to take your temperature before you go inside the clinic. My dentist said I can take off my braces in the next appointment which is during the june holidays! Blame it on the swine flu. Now I pray that tioman and perak trip will not be cancelled ):

Amelia, valerie, yingyin and I were the latest to reach because we were discussing ss article at kfc before that and took a cab to janine's house. There was so much food for dinner that more than half of the food was left. But the food was very good! :D

Played blackjack later at night. Janine's ahma joined us too! :D She's very funny. And valerie and I were the last to leave her house. Janine went crazy after receiving that pencilcase she has been waiting for since we bought it on val's birthday and she has been bugging me ever since.

I love valerie! AS IF. Hahaha, she asked me to say how much I love her.

LIVERPOOL IS COMING TO TOWN!! :DD

AHHHH! On the 26th of july! (: Probably going with yingyin. Yingyin for her fernando torres. Haha, I was really happy when I heard they have confirmed the trip down to singapore! Oh you know like you can meet them in person and see them live! Mum was like that's cheaper than going over to england to watch them live. EXACTLY. I bet all the manu fans are jealous. HAHAHA. But I still do hope to go over to liverpool to watch them.

Valerie said she MIGHT want to go for the match too. But like what's the point of her going since she hates liverpool.

Ms goh is on 6 weeks medical leave so ms zhang is the temporary chem relief teacher. I think she's a better teacher for me because she explains things in a followable pace although she talks in a funny way but ms goh talks like a bullet train and I don't get anything.

She's very random. She finishes going through the ws and starts talking about jc life.

Yesterday, after school, went to practise rs presentation with cheryl and jiemin before rushing back down to class for ss ces. After that, went for bio ces where mr tee TEACHED, like he really went through all the stuff. But had to leave halfway because I told my mum to come at 3.

Janine bought a pack of stickers on thurs and she was going crazy. Haha she pasted on her correction tape, camera. But some were quite nice la. My gosh, she was going crazy when she saw that ms kum also had a pack while making our way to the library. Even ms lim told her to control herself. Haha. Oh yes, and her birthday party next thursday after exams (:

So anw, the 2 tv programmes I'm following every week is american idol and ghost whisperer :D Love those 2 shows! American idol is like getting scarier every week. Double elimination this week and the 2 people expected went out. Haha, anw I predict that kris and adam will be in the final. The 5 contestants left now are all so talented! :D Much more competitive than last season. Ghost whisperer is just such a heartwarming show (:

Did math (so many revision exercises!!) and bio notes over this afternoon. Haven't started on chem AT ALL. Going to start either tonight or tmr.

Highlights for the past weekend:

1. Grandma's birthday; more of a family gathering. Haha, mum brought my childhood friends. Uh, their family used to be very close to my family and my aunty's so like every weekend, we gather together but now I guess we kind of separated. That was like 10 years ago. Haha. Played mahjong; my 8-year-old cousin knows how to! Gosh, going to become a compulsive gambler next time!

And my cousins and I hated lewis hamilton!! Hahaha, we were like venting our anger and hate for him. My 8-year old and 10=year old cousin. I guess they are sport followers too (:

2. Watched one soccer match this weekend. FA cup semi between arsenal and chelsea. Was supporting arsenal and was sad that arshavin wasn't in the starting lineup. But after all, I didn't really care about the result.

3. Watched morte carlo tennis tournament final between NADAL and djokovic. It was quite interesting (: Esp the final deciding set, the first 3 points kept on going into deuce and they took like 10 over minutes just to fight for one point. Yes anw NADAL WONN!! :D He's like gosh, damn good la.

Nature week this week. Got a labrador park board down in the foyer! :D Can't believe RS presentation is just next week!

Going for tioman trip (bio) and perak trip (cca) during june hols! :D Feeling quite excited about it! Haha, haiya such a pity jenny's parents felt that the perak trip was too adventurouso so she isn't going ): And, my mum booked holiday to bangkok while I'm in perak and she booked the afternoon flight while I'm going for the overnight bus. Plus, I have to stay at home alone for a night before they come back home

The weeks to come are going to be pretty busy!

I realised I'm blogging only once a week, which is much less than before. One reason is because I'm lazy or don't have the mood to do blog or just that school life has become really busy. Haha, I think other people are not blogging that regularly too.

Got back english and geog today. Guess I did okay, considering the whole standard of the paper. I think almost the whole class queued to ask for marks for summary, haha but I didn't get the mark I asked for! Geog was actually not up to standard because last time, it was like one of the easiest subjects that you can actually score for and now, geog doesn't just test on your memorising skills but also how you interpret and analyse.

Can't believe exams are coming so so soon!! There's bio spa next week and week 6 is going to be just so crazy! Going for the lee chyn concert on monday night, rs presentation on tuesday, chem and math on thursday!

GOOD FRIDAY (:

Went to church in the morning. Thought of how God died to redeem us from our sins and how God has been so awesome throughout my life. With him, "Hope which was lost, now stands renewed" Saviour King by Hillsong. Certainly, I will sing praises of Him all day long :D

After that, went to jurong point. The place was so crowded and plus the new part of the shopping mall, it's so BIG now! Hahaha, this is the first time there's something I like about jurong. Ate high tea buffet at some jap restaurant until I was so bloated.

There was an unpleasant sight in the restaurant. This family left their maid sitting on the other table, without any food, so basically she was just sitting there, looking at the family eat. Gosh, like HOW INHUMANE ARE THEY LA! They should have just left their maid at home if they weren't going to feed their maid. How tough must it be for the maid and how thick skin the family is, like don't they feel embarrassed?

On saturday, went for a haircut. And watched soccer at night. My LATEST HIT LIVERPOOL PLAYER IS DANIEL AGGER!! He scored such a spectacular during the game with blackburn and of course torres goals too, haha.

Watched 3 matches during the weekend, look how much time I wasted on that, maybe 5+ hours. But I guess soccer gives me a break during the weekend.

Anw, the 3 matches I watched were
1. Liverpool vs blackburn
2. Manu vs sunderland - I hate the new football channel layout, whenever there is some goal in the other matches they will show it in the very small screen and distracts you from the main match. Plus, you will be staring at the super small screen, figuring out what match is that and which team scored.
3. Aston villa vs everton (on sunday) - Good exciting match; was supporting aston villa and their recent form has been really poor and at the beginning of the season, they were like fantastic la!

After church, went to raffles city to have lunch with my parents before meeting jenny at BK. Janine and yingyin came late!

Our aim was to buy valerie, yingyin and jenny their presents. Took so long to decide on valerie's present, we wanted to buy her a wallet but couldn't find any suitable one for her, scared she wouldn't carry the "girly" kind. So in the end, bought a NUM shirt for her. Jenny got an animal hoodie and yoga mat and yingyin got a yoga mat. Janine got her early present and it is in my house now. Haha, I think I paid for all the presents usually by my nets card.

Met up with amelia, hejia and valerie later. Had dinner at valerie's favourite place, crystal jade la mian xiao long bao! :D Haha, her mum was ever so kind to sponsor the dinner (:

Wanted valerie to kiss the ronald mcdonald before we pass her the present but she refused to do it. So we took shots 1-10 together.

APRIL FOOLS

The first teacher we fooled was ms goh. We were having lab lesson and when she went out of the lab to take ws, we put a fake cockroach that eunice chiam brought in her pencil case. Then, when she went to open her pencil case, she SCREAMED! Haha, the whole class was laughing!

The second teacher was ms lim. Hers was simply the best! :D Janine and yingyin hid in the cupboard, behind the whiteboard. Then, I dunno what janine threw out, then mr lim was like COME OUT!! Haha, so janine came out but yingyin remained in there. After, hanis came out, dressed as a ghost and grabbed ms lim. I think she screamed and then she was laughing uncontrollably, like she was squatting down to laugh. Hahahaha.

Then she was looking for some paper that shows details for the ss trip to malaysia, then yingyin was like moving the whiteboard and the class started to laugh. Then, ms lim was like LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE. Even when she was looking at the board, she didn't notice the side board was moving, until yingyin got tired of moving and she started knocking. And then ms lim was like what was that? Then she started knocking back at the whiteboard. HAHAHA. But in the end, yingyin came out la.

We didn't want to fool ms kum because she was pregnant so very dangerous. Then, she came into class and said wah, no tricks ah? Haha, so the front row went to put the cockroach in her pencilcase and then she screamed when she saw it.

We decided to fool our juniors during npcc. We didn't fool the sec ones though and I didn't really see the trick they played on the sec2s and 3s because I was with the sec ones. Anw, what we did was to put salt in their bottles and change the drills, like instead on banging with left leg, we said they changed the whole thing so everything have to bang with the right leg. Sherm and I were trying to control our laughter when walking passed them.

That was basically all.

PE on monday was very fun! (: We played street soccer at the tennis courts so there is no such thing as the ball going out. It was so tiring and the weather was so so hot! The most tiring and sweatiest pe lesson!

Valerie and I both agree that the current england jersey is damn ugly. It is like just a polo tee, like not even a proper jersey la!

And a new batch has taken over our seagrass project. Returned quadrats today.

YINGYIN'S SWEET SIXTEEN BIRTHDAY BASH! :D

That took place last friday, on yingyin's birthday! And that was the day that yingyin finally gave me my birthday card, after almost 2 months. Cheryl koh also finally gave me my birthday present. So thank you to both of them! :D Cheryl koh totally put in a lot of effort into hers; hahaha I was so terribly touched!!

Anw, after school, went out with shamaine, shihui and yingyin for pre-party preparation. Went to RTC to put down our bags and went to fareast to have noodles for lunch, then walked to some high class place and wanted to buy 16 muffins but we decided not to buy because it wasn't that worth it.

So headed down to ps to buy the cake and whatever we need from carrefour. We took like forever to decide on the cake. First, went to secret recipe where there were only a few whole cakes left, then went to gelare, and then yingyin decided to buy this cake from secret recipe so we went down to buy the cake. But when we wanted to buy the cake, the person took out the cake and cut the cake, but of course before she could even cut the cake, we were like WE WANT THAT CAKE!! Haha, but she couldn't do that because the customer already ordered a slice of it.

Haiya, after going up and down from secret recipe to gelare, we finally bought the cake from breadtalk. I think that wasted quite a bit of time.

Cheryl koh met us at ps because some npcc tanglin visit was cancelled because we weren't in the schedule. Quite dumb.

Went to carrefour to buy plastic plates, utensils, drinks, the next day's breakfast etc. Took a bus back to rtc after that was done.

We went into rtc and they said that no outside food was allowed but since it was yingyin's birthday, she fortunately allowed.

The suite was pretty huge although the bathroom is like the same size as the bedroom and living room combined. There are like 3 sinks, one shower and one bathroom and a whole lot of space.

There were helium balloons everywhere because of yingyin's birthday. And we started to play who can get the balloon by jumping. Haha. And then we see who can do the tree pose the longest.

Soon after, people came streaming in. Ordered room service for dinner. Watched the ch8 9pm show. Played pass the parcel. Seriously cannot be bothered to go into details but I guess yingyin will be having a detailed post sooner or later.

Yes and we called for housekeeping for extra towels and toothbrush and they told us all guests should leave by 12. And there were 10 of us sleeping over; some went back already.

Then, we decided to go out at around 12 to orchard cine to watch a movie or play arcade. Cabbed down and there were probably more cabs than cars. Haha, taxis earn so much after midnight la, like with the 50% more surcharge.

Wanted to watch confessions of a shopaholic but only the first row was left. So went to the arcade instead. Orchard cine was quite crowded, pastamania and hk cafe were filled up like during dinner time.

After arcade, cabbed back. Discussed how we were going to get inside rtc because only like 2 people were actually allowed to stay over. So yingyin and rachel gan got in safely, then ruimin and sheryl went in and they also managed to sneak through. But when the 6 of us went, the security guard had to call his manager and yingyin went down to explain our real situation.

So in the end, they still didn't allow so many people to stay overnight and yingyin's parents had to fetch us home. RTC security is like so damn strict!! Ruimin and sheryl stayed in the rtc room while we all went to yingyin's house.

Slept at 0330am and we had to wake up at 6 the next morning because yingyin had to reach school at 0645 for angklung while we had career keys at 8.

And the next morning, yingyin woke us up but we were ignoring her. Haha, went to school and had breakfast in the canteen. I bet people thought we were damn free, meet up to have breakfast. Couldn't finish the cans of tuna and salmon. Then, mok came along and finished up the tuna for us with one ritz biscuit. Haha.

Went up to class to sleep. We just lie on the table and it was so comfortable! But I think we only slept for 1/2 hour.

Career keys was actually interesting but I was too tired and couldn't help but kept dozing off. I was so so sleepy that I slept through the whole saturday afternoon.

I got a flu over the friday night due to not drinking enough water and eating too much heaty stuff etc. Felt so sick the whole saturday.

Watched the england match and woke up at 0230pm on sunday!! CANNOT BELIEVE MYSELF. My mum came back from church and she woke me up if not I probably would be sleeping till dunno when.

Didn't go for fellowship sunday to lynmay's house ):

Switched on the tv to watch F1, first race of the season! It was quite interesting. Many cars crash on the last few laps, like how wasted la!! But I'm not A HUGE FAN of F1 and I support raikkonen but not like crazily, like I don't mind other racers winning as well but I cannot stand lewis hamilton! I'm sorry, haha.

AND IT'S BACK TO SCHOOL TMR!

I'm kind of excited to be seeing everyone again (: but I'm kind of dreading all the work and lessons.

Well, I guess I did enjoy my holidays because of a well-deserved rest. I think I manage to go out every single day. Haha. But on the other hand, I didn't do much work and I still don't understand whatever I'm supposed to revise during the holidays.

Picked dad up yesterday from the airport, then went to sushi tei for lunch (: He told a lot of stories.

Met jiayee and her mum at parkway food court on friday. Mum and I went for dinner there. Must be because of my influence that she is watching american idol and ghost whisperer!! :D And my mum still insists that ghost whisperer is a nonsense show when jiayee and I both agree that it is such a heartwarming show! :D

Alexis grace so shouldn't have gotten out of american idol! I thought michael should have and I thought the judges were going to save her. Oh wells, I doubt a girl would win american idol. There are 7 boys and 3 girls right now.

My mum supports kris allen (the guy in the photo below) and I guess I kind of support him too. But it really depends on their performances each week. At first, I kind of liked adam lambert but he is indeed quite gay, like hanissa said. His performance last week was really weird and he has black nails! Haiya, but I guess he is unique (:

Oh yes, and LIVERPOOL VS CHELSEA for champions league quarter finals. I was like OH MY GOSSSSSSSH!! Like liverpool and chelsea are just fated to be with each other, like always meet them during champs league. Manu like got the easiest opponents.

We got FIRST for vs captain's ball yesterday! :D Really really glad about it. It was our final year so we aimed to get first this year! We lived and left our legacy! We had a trophey and individual medals!

Sorry to be last to reach at vs although I stay like the nearest but I was on time okay! I played the defender/blocker, so I just stand in front of the catcher standing on the chair. My job was certainly very slack, didn't need to run, just jump jump when the ball is being thrown to the opponent's catcher. I wasn't even sweating for the first few games.

And our team's catcher was shermaine, who was "one of the best catchers I have ever seen" quote vs vice-principal. Haha. Seriously, she can catch balls very well. She caught 71 in total!!

There were 5 other players and 2 reserves so they just rotate among themselves. I think cheryl koh, hanissa, shermaine and I were the only ones who played all the games. The rest were amelia, andrea, duxuan, sandra and shamaine, Yunshu came to support us too! :D

Hanissa was jumping like a monkey in front of her opponent, that I think everyone laughed but she's very good! Haha, provides the agility and accurate passing, and can totally outplay her defender. I dunno why but it seems that I always long pass to her, maybe I have faith that she will catch. Haha.

Cheryl koh was a brilliant defender! She made my job a whole lot easier. Like when the ball is coming towards my direction, somehow she almost always manages to get it back, so I'm left with nothing to do.

We played preliminaries before proceeding to the knockout rounds. We managed to beat the teams in our preliminaries without much trouble.

But when it came to quarter finals, we met st. nicks, they won first for the past years. We were actually down 2-4 at halftime. And shermaine actually caught quite a few balls but she kept losing her balance and fall off the chair. It was certainly very scary because we didn't want to be kicked out. We were hoping so hard the time didn't just stop on us and you know what! We eventually won 5-4! :D Wow, what great spirit we showed. Thank God that teacher wasn't there. Haha.

Our semi and final was good! (: Haha, I must say we have great bond as a team!

Of course, we had bad times during the match too. Not so much for me, although sometimes the catcher just screams at the other players. STOP THROWING LONG PASSES. BLOCK HER! But some of the players of the opposite team are woah really big-sized and tall! So sometimes when you get the ball, they just surround you. Eg, shamaine ho kena surrounded, haha I'm sorry shamaine!! And the umpire sucks like crazy!! He can't see fouls for nuts! And they do scold vulgarities too, like the f word and all that.

But of course there are also some nice people. They smile and shake your hands. And sometimes, I just talk and smile to the catcher because we both have nothing to do.

Went with hanissa and sherm to have lunch at parkway, the others didn't follow because they had stuff on. Was supposed to be a celebration but I guess there weren't enough people to be called a celebration.

Today, went for npcc sec one camp. Had nothing much to do, just to help facilitate the games and all the others. In the meantime, we planned our interunit competition.

Had batch lunch and dinner together, before heading back home to watch american idol! And after that, the perfect cut 2. Haha the theme song is so nice! (:

And did I mention my dad went to phuket when we just went there last nov/dec?

Everyday, I'm trying to understand chem. I read through my tb times and times again until I thought I understood it until I went to moodle to see all the mcq questions, then I'm like okay, I actually need to revise yet again. Going to sleep and going back to school tmr again for feminism discussion!

IT FAIR

I can't believe I actually went there TWICE. Once on friday and another on sunday.

On sunday, it was so freaking crowded, like you barely have space to walk and there're flyers like all across the floor. And when you enter the fair, there's this whole row of people giving our flyers.

Anw, we have decided to buy an asus laptop so we went down again on sunday, only to find that it was sold out! OMG, hot on demand! Haha, we could pre-order but the stocks only arrive like long after so my parents decided to wait until the next IT fair.

There were 4 floors of the IT fair. I only went to 2 floors though, I actually dreaded going inside, like you just push and push your way around.

While walking through citylink, the police just stopped the people from going through citylink to get to suntec. And they flashed on the big screen in suntec "please come back in an hour time". Haha, like who will bother to come back again la.

Before the IT fair, I went to the national library to borrow books and met jolyn there who was searching books for her history pt.

Read finish a book today and went for a swim! Then mum brought me to marine parade library and I borrowed more books. The library was reshelving their books and it was quite weird to find the books because I was already so used to where all the books are.

Anw, my holiday plans are:

Tmr: VS captain's ball! Haha, the whole team is so excited about it! (: Let's hope we win first this year!
Wed: NPCC sec one camp, not going to stay overnight since the sec 3s are in charge.

Yup that's all at the moment and I still have complete all my homework and catch up on all that I don't understand. Yes and of course I will be watching lots of tv and reading my library books.

Yesterday was definitely a happy happy day! Mainly because of the exciting manu and liverpool match!

PRE-MATCH HYPE!

Rooney publicly announced that he hated liverpool and he has totally lost my respect because of that. How can he be so rude? At first, I thought he was not a bad player.

I asked mum to bet on liverpool but she didn't hear me out. They have really weird bets like who's the first player to score the first goal.

Then, my mum kept on telling me YOUR HEART ATTACK SHOW COMING ALREADY! And just before the match started, I was getting so scared and excited!!

DURING MATCH HIGHLIGHTS!

Manu got a penalty and I was like OH SHIT and my dad went YAY! Was hoping reina could save or ronaldo would kick it wide but the ball went in. Wah dumb, was so pissed after that.

But you know not all hope is gone! :D Vidic did a mistake and torres made the best use of his chance man!! And YESSSSS, I went screaming like crazy!! Haha, and I think liverpool played better after that.

Then just after halftime, liverpool had a penalty!! I was come on gerrard!! And yes, was jumping up and down! :D Gerrard was so cute okay, he went to kiss the camera. Haha, I found that so funny! Cannot find a nice picture of that online but it's on the newspaper today though.

During the second half, manu started attacking and I was like hoping that liverpool would defend well and continue with that mindset and character.

That yingyin came to call me and I was like haiyoo, why you call me now!?!? Then I told her I was watching manu vs liverpool and she was more interested about her torres. Haha.

Then vidic fouled gerrard and he got a red card. I was like going FOUL!! If vidic didn't foul him, gerrard sure goal one. Haha anw, liverpool had a free kick and aurelio scored such a beautiful free kick that left van der sar stranded. It was totally unexpected but oh wells, was very happy by then because of match was more or less won.

Liverpool finished with icing on the cake! Another goal which totally killed the game. Totally laughed at the manu players and the manager, hahaha sorry cannot help it la! Van der sar looked like he was going to cry. That's liverpool's gk, reina, below anw and he's torres neighbour. Haha.

And the match finished:

Manu's worst defeat since 1992. And liverpool had a double win over manu this season! :D Victory was so sweet for liverpool! :D

Yes and I have to treat my parents to satay bee hoon at lagoon hawker centre, but on another day though.

Was watching arsenal vs blackburn match after that. I like arshavin ever since I saw him during the holland vs russia game during euro.

That will keep me happy for the week I guess! (: Too bad there isn't school on monday if not I will be suanning all the manu fans.

Holidays have begun and I'm totally in the holiday mood. Woke up at 12+ today, that means 12 hours of sleep.

Last sunday, went out for dinner with amelia, janine, jenny and yingyin at parkway! :D Haha, ate at mos burger and ate ice cream as well (: Yingyin hasn't ate at mos burger before nor has she been to parkway. How deprived!

Amelia brought her antique camera but I'm not sure how the photos will turn out to be like. And actually, the dress code was a skirt/ dress but I refused to wear either. Haha.

The whole week was learning journey so didn't have lessons (: Went to marina barrage on monday! Been there before because of clean & green week and we were there to present our seagrass project.

It was raining and windy so couldn't really enjoy ourselves much. Haha, the scenery there is really nice but too bad for the rain. But the gallery was pretty, like all the exhibits were very cool! :D

Valerie insisted that her umbrella is of good quality when it is not because it went like upside down (you know what I mean). Jenny was laughing at a primary school girl when her umbrella was also like that.

Didn't have anything on tuesday (: But met up with cheowying, yingting and yutan for math pt at tiong bahru macs! Took the mrt there and the mrt was freaking crowded because of peak hour. Only sat for 2 stations!

After math pt discussion, took mrt with cheowying to tampines where I met my mum at tampines and we had lunch at pizza hut. When I was sitting in the mrt, there was this couple sitting beside me. The girl was seriously really weird! She was asking the guy really weird questions and saying a lot of weird stuff, like telling the guy he had fat cheeks, how is she going to marry him later.

Went to fetch dad after that and went to swim but I couldn't swim because my period just came! My mum said kena toto also not so zhun!

Woke up at 4am on wednesday morning to watch LIVERPOOL VS REAL MADRID. It was such a fantastic match!! :D Liverpool totally outplayed real madrid. Poor casillas (madrid's goalkeeper) was almost in tears! I thought the first goal wasn't counted because I really thought it was a foul and I wanted to scream but controlled myself. Haha, and dad left his room door open so if I really scream, sure wake him up!

Although the first 2 goals were rather controversial, but I think liverpool played really well! (: When I just went in to sleep, mum woke up and came in to my room and asked me what was the score. I asked her to guess and she was like 1-0, 2-0? From my expression, she knew liverpool won but the question was by how much? Then I was like 4-0! She was quite shocked!

Went to JTC on wednesday! Stayed there for less than an hour. The exhibition was nice! Haha, only like 7 from our class went during that session. We went with 411.

Everyone was rushing math pt that night, like the whole world was online. Slept at 12+, wanted to stay up even later to accompany yingting while she compiles everything properly but I was almost dying already.

Had a talk on feminism at SCWO on thursday! Asked whether we could leave from there because the dimsum place we wanted to go to for lunch was so near but couldn't.

Anw, went to have dimsum at victor's kitchen at sunshine plaza. The dimsum is not bad only la, yingyin and co say until so fantastic like that! Went home by mrt with janine and amelia.

Friday was a holiday so mum and I went to suntec by bus for the IT fair. The place was so crowded! Haha, dad wants to buy a new laptop for me because my laptop is getting lousy! The battery life can't last AT ALL.

And they had a body shop sale which we had to queue to get in, but didn't get anything in the end because it was just really really crowded, like you have to squeeze your way through just to see what they have on offer and to queue again to pay. It's crazy.

Got home in time to watch ghost whisperer! :D

I'm so glad exams are all over for this term (: And next week is learning journey! :D Plus, friday is a holiday as well.

Only went home at 10+ yesterday, that means I was out for 16 hours mainly because we had FOUNDER'S DAY CELEBRATIONS AT NIGHT!

Anw, before I go on to talk about friday. I want to talk about class party on thursday! :D Haha, exco actually planned a surprise but it all failed because ms lim was giving it all away!! ARGH. Haha, but class party was really fun other than the unfortunate incident that happened which I don't wish to talk about here.

Oh and that stupid korean song is stuck in my head ever since jenny sang it like dunno how many times.

On friday, received our rgs 130: live the legacy shirt! :D So sorry to whoever who didn't receive the size you asked for.

After school, went out with amelia, hejia, janine, jenny, valerie & yingyin to raffles city to have lunch at Shokudo. Haha MY GREAT SUGGESTION! :D Anw, shokudo is like the japanese version of marche.

The food there is not bad, and there's a variety of different food. Haha the pizza there is indeed very nice! :D and food there is pretty pricey I guess. Amelia left her card around TWICE. If she loses it, she has to pay $100. ATE SO MUCH THAT I DIDN'T HAVE DINNER AFTER THAT.

Walked around and went to suntec. Jenny had some num problem so went to the shop but she didn't see any hot salesmen around so she decided to go to the other shop instead, like so crap!

Jenny and I talked about cca stuff and jenny was like venting her frustration. Haha.

Hanged around at toysrus for quite a long time. Omg, they were so embarrassing, playing with wands and whatever to pose for the camera. Haha, jenny and I decided we shouldn't get involved and walked away. And she bought a hello kitty watch, haha.

We decided to take cab back to school so we don't have to rush and could take our time. Janine, val and jenny were in one cab and they went first. We waited for 4 cabs later before heading inside the cab because they said those cabs were more expensive. Because amelia and hejia couldn't stand the smell of the cabs, we wind down the windows. The cab fare was only actually $5+ but after cbd and peak hour charges, it was $10+. And we reached school earlier than the other cab.

We reached school pretty early. Went to check out the npcc GOHs and some of them didn't have ranks, like how last minute can they be right!! Argh, so went to call duxuan which she finally answered in the end. Went to class, took our ties and torchlights. Went down to the amphi early as well, we wanted to take jump shots but didn't in the end because there were too many people around.

We were trying so hard to attract mr de's or mr lim's attention so they can help us take a picture so we were waving frantically whenever we think they are looking at us. Haha and then we finally managed to get mr lim to take a photo of us! (:

Janine bought light bands for the whole class and ms lim was so fussy with her colours!! Haha, ms lim is just so amusing! And mr kelvin ng brought his 2 cute daughters!

We waited for so long before it all began because they had reception and all that. We were feeling so so hot because we were wearing tie. Haha but at least it's better than having it in the day (:

The performance was great!! :D with all the light effects! Thank god it didn't rain if not the performance would definitely be different. Was praying about that since it rained the days before and today also. So God certainly blessed our founder's day. And the cue to switch on the torchlights wasn't exactly very obvious like what we're told.

The sec 4s were the last to be dismissed but janine , val and amelia left first because janine's aunty was in school already. After we were finally dismissed, went to take photos!! :D class photo, jump shots etc. Haha, mr de and nina were kind souls who helped us take! (: Photos are below:

This morning, mum woke me up and before I got out of the bed, she said LIVERPOOL WON! This time, I BELIEVED her. I got up and just walked straight out to the dining table without going to the toilet, because usually I will go to the toilet to pee first. Haha, and then I was so angry with mum because she never woke up earlier to watch the highlights. But I AM SO GLAD LIVERPOOL WON! :D

Had math and SS tests on wednesday, haha both were all right I guess (: I don't place much expectation on both, but I really know I did a really stupid thing in my math paper which omg, I totally can't believe myself. But anw, there are bound to be careless mistakes as well. SS was to me, quite unexpected, but I guess it was okay because I had time to write my essay and I knew what to write.

But when it's over, it is over, just hope for the best and get nervous again when they are giving back the results. Haha.

Was revising bio just now while watching american idol. Haha, but I also revised bio after that. Anw, I thought american idol was YESTERDAY because it was usually aired on wednesdays and then I dunno why they changed it to today. I was so looking forward to it yesterday you know!!

I'm actually PROUD to say that I have no tuition. Haha, I am such an independent learner!! :D The only tuition I ever had was CHINESE and that was until sec one. And of course my dad taught me when I was in primary school but now, I'm just on my own.

I still remember I did so badly for science in primary 3, like I got the lowest in class or something and I got the lowest for chinese, haha I remember the paper was so damn hard and I was crying after the results. Oh wells, that was the primary school days. And so dad taught me science and I improved the drastically over the years and was one of the tops :D Haha, and the science papers were really hard I still remember.

I actually wanted to find tuition for chem especially, but I was really lazy to look for one and blah blah. Look how much money I saved for my parents because of having no tuition :D Haha, I'm not saying tuition is a waste of money but uh, I dunno, I think being a tuition teacher is quite an easy job.

Anw, had NPCC on wednesday. Jenny was in a dilemma whether to go for cca or to go for tuition make up class for physics. Chriselle was telling her to go for tuition and then I was telling jenny to go for cca. In the end, jenny called her mother and she went for cca! :D Haha, I think she took super long deciding.

PT was very fun! Haha made them run up and down the stairs within a certain time as a batch. My job was to stand on the 4th floor and make sure they don't play cheat and encourage all of them!! Haha, when the last girl past me, shamaine and I will run behind them to push them to go faster!

Today, hejia, yingyin and amelia didn't come. Started a new topic for math and mr ng came back to teach again. Was so terribly hungry, could hear my tummy growling plus we could eat during his lessons but didn't had food. And that tzegek was eating sushi behind me!! Anw, Mr thio seriously looks nicer with his hair not geled.

Haha, janine and I conclude that IT IS DEFINITELY NOT US WHO MAKE NOISE because the teachers generally always pick on our area there. HRC is high ropes course. And it was at pulau ubin, our last time we are going to be at the npcc campsite there. The elements were all very fun but we had to wait really long for each element so we ended up spending more time waiting than anything else.

My arms ached like crazy after that and I got SUPER SUPER BLACK after that due to the really really hot sun!! Haiya, cannot really notice the difference but I really did become blacker from the already tan complexion that I have. I'm going to have skin cancer soon ):

TOTALLY SCREW CHEM! It was HORRIBLE as expected. The paper was so terribly hard ): and I'm not expecting much from it. Actually in the first place, I already expected it to be very very difficult because dr ng set it and she's out to kill us. But still, I think I studied pretty hard for this test you know!! I was going crazy memorising all the QA stuff and all the moodle quizzes.

And thank god I could log into moodle yesterday night. Lots of people couldn't log in probably because of overwhelming users in moodle. And I just did the quizzes which made me think so much!

Chinese was all right I guess. Wrote so much crap in my compre answers and it was tiring. But I'm glad that chem and chinese are over! Now for MATH and SS next week. Oh man, I haven't read all my ss readings! They are very dry, just makes you fall asleep.

Stayed back for math pt. I think my group is making quite good progress! :D DId experiments using cards and it was so tiring, shuffling cards esp! And we only did 100 times when we're supposed to do like 900 more. OH NO ):

Played games at the end, RETARDED GAMES! Come on, imagine hanissa and jaslyn, the two game capts, of course games will be as lame as them, especially that jaslyn. She was dancing to the high school musical during recess today!

Sec ones are all right for now I guess, so far so good, haha maybe they will show their true colours sooner or later so must be on guard. We don't want another batch like the sec 2s. Seriously, sec 2s are horrible, I'm sorry, they don't listen and they just can't shut their mouth up but of course there are a few exceptions.

Watched american idol! The people who deserved it went to the top 12. And that stupid tatiana got out!! She's like REALLY REALLY ANNOYING AND IRRITATING!! I couldn't believe it when she got into the top 36 okay!! So glad she's out, should have been out ago and let someone who deserves that top 36 place more than her be there.

I think I'm going to sleep early today! Really tired after nights of studying chem. Haha, couldn't concentrate doing work today.

I'm feeling quite scared for chem test!! ): Because I don't really get much and I'm like sweating right now, maybe due to the weather or that I'm like panicking. But I'm satisfied with all the chem revision I did tonight and RS too, which I spent an hour plus with, giving up with google docs and having a hard time choosing pictures for presentation.

My weekend was seriously wasted on things that I shouldn't be doing and I just couldn't concentrate. But it's true that last minute revision forces you to focus your 100%, but still, last minute work is BAD.

One more hour of chem on moodle and I'm going to sleep! Too much is also no good. Shall aim to finish up all the moodle exercises by tmr, but I just realised there are SO MANY stuff to do on moodle! But I'm glad they are there, I just can't read and memorise, I won't remember anything! PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT! :D

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! ! ♥

Thank you amelia, hejia, janine, jenny, sandra, shamaine, tzegek, valerie, yingyin, yutan for the cards/ presents! :D and of course to the class welfare comm for the heart-shaped balloon and the cake!! (: I will get fat during the weekend from eating all the chocolates! Oh and of course thanks to the people who wished me! :D

The day before, I was rushing all my cards but couldn't write for everyone whom I wanted to write to ): Really sorry, and the fact that I didn't buy anything but I wrote/ made nice cards, where each card was hard work okay!

Everyone in the class had a balloon thanks to the efforts to janine & huiqing who came to school so early to blow balloons! But a few of them burst and diy was had a phobia of balloons so she gave hers away.

Since the 15th is going to be total defence, kind of commemorated the day on Friday. Like everyone knew there was going to be fire drill. Haha, we were so happy when the bell finally rang and we waited for the announcement to come. And in the meanwhile, ms lim was still carrying on and valerie went,"Ms lim, you're supposed to be panicking right now!" Anw, I don't think anyone was listening to her.

We took a shorter time for fire drill, as compared to last year. And there wasn't any fire engine or civil defence coming down, unlike last year ): so fire drill wasn't very interesting! That valerie even brought down her lunch box, in hope that recess would be right after that. But in the end, skipped a little of ss and the whole of chinese not because of the fire drill, but because we were in our classrooms for quite long!

Ms foo left halfway during geog block so took a few jump and normal shots outside the class. Then, we saw ms lim walking by so janine blew her kisses and she blew kisses back!! Omg, it was so surprising!

Hejia sang many songs and the one stuck in my head is happy together! And do you know it is sang by the turtles! HAHA such a weird name right! But we all conclude that tzegek can sing very well! :D

After school, mum fetched me to have lunch and then to have a haircut! So my hair is shorter now and my fringe is not as curly, haha.

Then, picked dad up and we went to the car showrooms. I have no idea how many my parents went already, looking at the stack of car brochures in my house. But today, I decided to tag along.

First we went to nissan, stayed there for quite long. While mum talked to the car agent, dad and I just went around sitting in cars. Haha, quite fun you know!! I love SUV and 8-seater cars! (: Haha, although of course there is no need for one. And there was a section where they told you why the car is shaped like that blah blah, like science centre like that. Another showroom we went was mitsubishi where I didn't really like the cars there.

Don't ask me about my mum's sudden interest towards buying a new car. I think currently, she is interested in the nissan latio. Maybe it is because cars are so much cheaper now.

I really don't know how to study for QA!! I'm just staring at all the notes and materials I found.

I spent the night yesterday watching ghost whisperer and survivor while feeling happy about seeing all the liverpool icons!! The person who did all that is omg really brilliant and it's great that she likes all the things I like! Haha, she has like majority of the icons of xabi alonso, which is AWESOME!! :D But I shall post the few torres ones I chanced upon! (:

Totally love those kayaking photos above, although the date kind of destroys them. But it is kind of sad to know that we'll not be kayaking anytime soon! ):

I changed my wallet!! Jiayee gave it to me for my birthday present and I decided to use it. Many people were surprised that I used that wallet, that shamaine totally didn't believe it when I told her, she opened my wallet and checked my ez-link card. Haha, but I do find the wallet pretty you know!

Mrs Naidu got pissed with us during english and she scolded us for quite long and it was sometimes awkward here and there. Hmm, it was quite scary!

PE today was SOOO FUNNY!!! We played a 6v6 game, without any goalie so then that SMART shi tian stood in front of the goalpost and caught the ball with her hands! And then, she was going,"OOO!! I CAUGHT THE BALL!!" and she was jumping about, not knowing it was a HANDBALL! We all were laughing like crazy until we fell on the grass!! Even the other people at the other match were so curious to know what happened. Then we had a penalty but lena shot it wide.

Then, the BEST thing happened. Shi tian didn't learn her lesson and used her hands AGAIN! And valerie missed the penalty, HAHA OUR TEAM CAN'T SHOOT FOR NUTS. HAHA OMG, left us laughing again. But in the end, our team WON! :D and the winning goal was straight from a throw in from valerie.

Had npcc today. Conducted drills and games! But due to the rain and thunder, games were totally cut short ): Wasted the efforts of hanissa and jaslyn. When we were keeping the equipment, we could see like heavy rain slowly coming, like at the netball courts, it was raining really heavily but at the field, it was just drizzling! You could see the rain slowly coming. Haha.

Because of bad weather ): we sang songs in the classroom. The sec 3s conducted. We were singing father abraham, and then you know it goes like raise your right, raise your left blah blah. Then that SICK JENNY was like SHAKE YOUR BOOBS, and then hanissa carried on, SHAKE YOUR RIGHT BOOB. OMG, it was very funny!!

Went to labrador park for seagrass yesterday. Last session ): Mr lim paid for our taxi fares (: Hmm and we noticed that many many seagrass were like burnt!! ): They were like really black! OH MAN, REALLY SADENNING!!

The weekend coming up will be really busy because of a lot of catching up to do and of course studying, esp QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS. ZERO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT IT. I can't believe exams start just next week!

KAYAKING!!

It has been really fun, although it is straight 3 days, friday, saturday and sunday, including the friday and saturday of last week! :O So I have no time to do much work ): because by the time I come back home, I'm already so damn tired but still have to force myself to do at least a little work.

The 1 & 2 star course was really well spent although I won't be kayaking any time soon. But we learnt so so much, like sometimes you don't even think you can do that on the kayak. Haha, definitely more than the forward, backward strokes and capsize drills we did during obs.

Met at kallang mrt at 0830am before walking to that place. For the 2 times I took mrt to kallang, I ran for the mrt but failed to catch it ):

Because the course is the whole day so we go to golden mile hawker centre for lunch when we're totally wet and smell of salt. Haha, we go there and wet the seats! Haha, I LOOK FORWARD TO LUNCH EVERYDAY!! :D Of course shamaine too! We will be complaining that we are hungry! And she forgot to bring her 2 packets of pokey along and left it in her bad.

Today, hanissa had free food because her father's satay stall used to be there so had friends around. And that guy recognised her and declined to accept her money! Hanissa is a really funny and crazy girl! To think about it, I think a lot of funny stuff happened although I can't seem to remember any of it right now! I know there was once hanissa waved to the singapore flyer and condo, hoping someone would spot her.

We have to launch the kayaks every time and wash/keep them at the end of the day.

Some skills we learnt included J stroke, which is paddling your kayak sideways! I bet you didn't know that your kayak could go sideways!! Haha, at first I was like HUH? CAN MEH? But it is possible although I think that's the most difficult skill for me. And when you capsize, you have to tap 3 times, to apparently raise your water confidence.

We have to wear a spray skirt!! (: Haha, you know the one the obs instructors wore. Yes, we wear it really high until like just below your boobs. Also, sometimes it is really hard to put it on so friends help is needed! And we had leg rests in our single kayaks. The leg rests help you to manoeuvre!

ESKIMO BOW is my favourite!! It is uh, your spray skirt is on and you capsize and you remain under and feel for another kayak's bow to pull yourself up! It is quite a tough skill to pick up but once you get the hang of it, it's really fun! Because your hand placed on the bow has to be correct to push yourself up using the HIP FLICK!! At first, my hand was in the wrong position so I couldn't pull myself up but I KEPT CALM, haha and finally got it lor!! How long you hold your breath also matters. Yeah, keeping calm is super impt because you're underwater! Cheryl koh took like forever to get it, despite me demonstrating so many times for her! But after 2 failed attempts, she finally did it!

Oh EDGING is really fun too! It is like turning your boat at an angle and then you go turning!! I love that feeling! :D Haha, but really prone to capsizing!

Sandra had a really bad experience! While doing eskimo bow, she didn't manage to get back up and she panicked and ms siow (not sure how to spell it) was her partner and tried to save her but also fell into the water although her kayak remained up right! Haha cheryl koh and I saw the incident happening. That was on saturday so today when we did eskimo bow again, she already developed a phobia but instructor yk helped her to slowly overcome it and she did it!! :D
Today, we had an mini expedition. Like obs, we also had a diamond formation but unlike obs, it was really short, like less than an hour because of the lack of time.

Oh our teachers also came kayaking with us too! They are super cool right! :D

Our instructors were also really nice! (: There was leon, kim, zhihao and yk. There are 2 each session so they like take turns. They are really patient to teach us the skills and all that.

CHERYL KOH WAS MY BUDDY! So like everything we need to pair up, I will do it with her.

And unfortunately, my period came this morning!! Maybe it's because I forgot to pray about it yesterday night. I pray everyday that my period won't be during kayaking but I forgot to pray about it because I said a really short prayer and fell asleep while thinking what else to pray about, HAHA.

But that didn't really affect me, I still went down to the water, we do like capsize/ rescue drills everytime so like I probably capsize at least 10 times. I had my period throughout obs so I have experienced it already.

I think by the end of the course, almost everyone bought booties and they are like the same somemore! Haha, my booties have proven to be useful. I bought them when I was P6 or 5 because of my swimming test but I have been using it for seagrass monitoring and all the water activities!

We kayaked at kallang river, which is relatively calm, not like obs, no big ships around but many dragon boats! The place is crowded during the weekends.

At the beach, there are many pretty spiral shells and sometimes you can see small fishes swimming around. Oh and we witnessed fishes flying across the water, like one group of wish fly up at once! OMG LIKE REALLY REALLY COOL!!

My parents patiently waited for me because we always finish late!! They just stay in the car and read newspaper while hurrying me up.

I definitely became tanner, especially my arms!! OMG, and I think I built up my hand and shoulder muscles! Haha, must apply counterpain everytime I come back.

The instructors took a few photos of us and I guess I'll post them up when I find them on facebook.

I think I need to sleep early today, really really tired ): and it's only 0930pm! I shall worry about work tmr.

Hello!

I did some edits to my blog, like making the font size and the spacing between each line BIGGER! Haha, I think I have done a lot of changes since the day I got this skin, but I took a really long time figuring out the html, just guess (:

Anw, I'm going to change my writing style too. Instead of writing line by line, I'm just going to write continously like that (: Let's see how this is going and maybe I will switch back again.

NPCC yesterday was kind of useless, did uniform etiquette which we already know and total defence and just a whole lot of time spent on stoning while people get badges and those people who failed to retake their 3rd class drills. OMG, the noise level of our cca is horrible!! At first, my SHHH worked so well but soon after, to no effect and duxuan soon got pissed and asked everyone to stand up! Woah, even I was so surprised she did that.

Anw, I really hope that our cca would be more disciplined and we have taken off to a good start I think and so we aim to CONTINUE like that for the rest of the year :D So that we will have no regrets when we step down but we don't want to be like npcc, haha we just want an acceptable standard of discipline. Seriously, I think discipline is our main problem!!

Sorry but I really can't stand some of the juniors there. They show no respect and think they are the greatest and sometimes, I really feel like slapping them but of course there are some others which are great! Their berets are so much better than mine.

Hmm, hanissa is going to set up a JLFC and shamaine is going to set up a NLFC! Haha, shan't go into details because I'm afraid by coincidence, the victims will come to find out one day and it will really funny!

Got released late that day and mum got kind of pissed because it was raining and she didn't want to meet a traffic congestion! But fetched hanissa, sandra and shamaine! Sorry cheryl koh for not fetching you! We couldn't wait for you!

TODAY!!

I think the chinese teacher is quite good, I can see the effort she puts in to make lessons fun and engaging although we all don't really like chinese.

Yes, and we got math pt! Grouped with yingting, cheowying and yutan! Haha, so during free block, we discussed about it! Gosh, I didn't know yingting was the crazy crazy kind, she had GREAT imagination, of course yutan too! Anw, it's good getting to know others whom I'm not really close with (: Chriselle, janine, valerie and yingyin is the totally nonsense group!

Tianyuan's sheep got sliced off by the blades of the fan today! Like kena beheaded. OMG, my sheep is also at a REALLY DANGEROUS POSITION!! ): When the fan is switched on at high speed, I'm so scared that my sheep get sliced off too!

I have 2SL projects, one is about some childcare centre and the other is my rs project on seagrass!

Stupid shamaine told mr lim that I said he very slack, only have 2 classes to teach! And then mr lim kept on harping on it, "Someone said I very free". Haiya, it was just a comment (:

YESTERDAY!!

SOMETHING MAJOR HAPPENED TO PHILO CLASS!! Huiqing saw a RAT and she started shouting so that section of the class started running to the other corner. Haha, at first I thought she said BAT! Hmm, she heard the squeak squeak sound and she turned around and she saw it, and yutan saw it too but she said it was very cute! So after that, people became very cautious and scared.

Had pe after that and yingyin was so stupid not to bring her pe attire. Had soccer and it was so tiring!!

Ran down to the canteen for recess because it was FRIED FOOD DAY and we wanted to eat CHICKEN RICE! :D Running down the spiral staircase really made me dizzy and I was so tired after running all that. Haha, but I was the first to be down okay! (: I think we always eat that chicken rice every wednesday and ask for more CRISPY CRISPY!! That stall's food is like the nicest (: And although the chicken seems to be getting smaller and smaller each week, it is still so nice!! :D

Oh yes, mentioning about that, JANINE LOVES TO SUCK UP TO PEOPLE. Gosh, she does that to the canteen vendors and even the popular aunty!

English was quite interesting! Went through compre answers and played something like musical chairs, only that we passed this bear around and when the music stops, the person holding the bear will answer the question. Haha, she played 987fm but there wasn't nice music to sing along to ):

Oh and I BROKE MY TESTUBES ): SO I ONLY HAVE 3 LEFT! Haha, I was so careless because I was carrying it upside down. Thanks siti for clearing the mess and many warned me about picking up the glass pieces but I still picked them up la. And I caused a major human jam along the staircase!

OMG AND HOW COULD I HAVE EVER FORGOTTEN IT. THE GIVING BIRTH VIDEO!! Haha, it was really freaky basically, now I understand the hard process of giving birth by my mum. I actually remembered like just!

What I'm going to do afterwards:
1. Find diagrams (bio) and print to paste on bio journal
2. Make neat and tidy notes on fertility!
3. Research and study about qualitative analysis

I won't probably finish all of them by tonight, maybe will drag to the weekend! But at least, I'm done with geog fa (: which was quite easy to do! Haha.

Kayaking TMR, SAT AND SUN!! Whole weekend all wasted and caused me to miss camp group lunch and church ): But kayaking is going to be fun, only that I hope that my period doesn't come. Haha, I find it really funny that shamaine refers it as REDBULL! What if you are drinking redbull? HAHAHA.

NADAL & LIVERPOOL MADE MY DAY TOTALLY!! :DD

I just have to think about it and I will be happy!

Didn't catch the match because I was so tired already and went to sleep before the match even started and also because I was really really scared, haha my heart will be like beating nonstop if I did catch the match and would suffer from a heart attack earlier!

But on monday, I was already awake before my mum even woke me up and I could feel my heart beating like crazy!! but I still lay in bed, pretending I was still asleep. So soon after, my mum woke me up and she told me liverpool won 2-0 and I didn't believe her because she ALWAYS LIES TO ME!!

So I just went out to see the result with my own eyes. I was like shivering when I opened the papers but AHHHHH!!! THEY WON! :DDD And believe me, that totally woke me up. I was like jumping around while eating breakfast, getting so excited as I read the match report on the papers.

Yes, 2 last minute goals saved the day and got liverpool back on track! (:
TORRES IS TOTALLY ON FIRE AGAIN!!

Caught the australian open final on sunday as well (: Who knew tennis could be so exciting!! Haha 5 match thriller of over 4 hours with some wonderful tennis! AND NADAL WON!! :D

Argh, that actually wasted quite a bit of time though I did my jian bao while watching the match but that was like the ONLY thing that I did.

I really like their attitude, both nadal and federer. They may be rivals but they have so much sportsmanship that I really admire so much. They are like so gracious!

Poor federer ): I like him but just that I prefer nadal. I was taken aback when he started crying on the podium, "GOD, IT'S KILLING ME" that's the sentence I remember the most about what he said. And gosh, he just started tearing and nadal was being so nice to go and comfort him!

My mum said her heart went out for federer when he teared and I must admit I was like kind of like that too. He did try his best but in the end, still defeated yet remained gracious. I'm sure he will be able to get his 14th grand slam although nadal would probably get more than that, haha (:

Yesterday was a really crazy day!

Amelia and janine got there early and chop places for us already!
Haha, if not we will be queueing for a really long time.

We took a really long time to order because of people always leaving and cannot make up their minds.

Amelia, janine and yingyin made it so obvious that they are going to buy a cake when they were whispering to each other and then they said they were going to the toilet.
Shamaine didn't think much about it, SIGH even cheryl koh knows la! Haha.

Food was really good, especially the xiao long bao! :D
I think we were quite noisy in the restaurant but whatever.

So after eating, the waitress went do you want your cake now?
I SOOOO KNEW IT OKAY! Not a surprise anymore.
So they hid the cake from me and light up the candles.

And they started to sing a birthday song and everyone started to turn to our table.
It was so embarrassing!!
They sang damn loudly somemore, I think the whole restaurant turned to look at us.
Even the waitress was asking us to lower our volume. Haha.

Then, they asked me to stick the "happy birthday" sign you see on cakes in my hair and take photos, that explains the photos above.
And they passed the present to me and asked me to do stupid things while they video.

Anw before that, we went kayaking for npcc at kallang river!
Just reminds me of obs, but this time it was SINGLE KAYAKS.
That shamaine ho did a really dumb thing, before she even got in the kayak, she dropped in the water already and got scratches all over her legs.

Basically did whatever we did during obs - capsize drill, rescue, forward strokes on the first day.
Hanissa and shamaine took so long to rescue me!
But it was really hard to capsize, so I guess the kayak was quite stable.

I still couldn't go straight at all la.
I seriously cannot do it!

Anw after that, shamaine and cheryl koh came to my house.
Haha, cheryl koh didn't shower because she already kind of showered at the place, we were RUSHING HER LIKE CRAZY. HAHA.
Shamaine wore my clothes, from head to toe incl. undergarments. Haha.
And they conveniently dumped their shoes and caps for my mum to wash. Haiya, my mum kindly offered la.
They ate my chinese new year goodies because we were quite hungry, didn't have a proper lunch.

And off we went to tm!
I reached home at around 10 and we were hanging around outside din tai fung for quite long, wondering what to do.
By that time, I was like really tired already.

Got home, watched american idol, checked my facebook and replied all the wishes.
Had another bithday cake from parents.
I keep on forgeting to blow the candles, haha just straight away cut.
Slept past 12.

Cheryl koh is such a DUMB ASS.
You know she actually FORGOT my birthday!
WHAT A FRIEND I HAVE.
They were singing birthday song in the foyer and then she was like,"HUH? WHY SING NOW? HER BIRTHDAY TMR WHAT?"

Woke up so early today because of kayaking once again!!
Haha, I thought I was dreaming when my mum woke me up.

Mum fetched me to bedok mrt.
1 minute to train arriving, and I RAN! but I still couldn't make it on that train so I had to wait for another 5 minutes.
Haha, but I think I managed to reach kallang mrt just on time! :D

Walked to the kayaking place and there were many people around.
Today's course was the whole day!
We splited into 2 groups and I think my group got the nicer instructor (:

Who knew there were so many things to learn about kayaking!
They are like so many different strokes you can master!

Did resuce, getting back up on the kayak after capsizing is so tiring I tell you!!
Cheryl koh took ages to capsize!

Stopped over for lunch at beach road hawker centre.
Was so very hungry, ate duck rice and green bean fritters.
Haha yes, we were wet and we just went there, smelling of sea water.
Haha, now like a lot of people bought booties!
THEY ARE PRETTY USEFUL EH! :D

There are just so many dead fishes lying on the shores and it is just so DISGUSTING ):

And hanissa got her thing, like she realised it during lunch so she just put tissue paper. Haha.

Our group ended much earlier so by the time we cleaned our kayaks and put them back up on the racks, the other group then came.
Haha, so we went to shower first.
But in the end, we still had to wait for them for debrief.

My parents brought cheryl koh, hanissa and myself to kallang airport hawker centre for early dinner.
Lion dance troops totally ruined the dinner, they were so totally noisy!!

And I'm aching everywhere! My arms and shoulders.
That was expected la anw.
And I think I got a little tanner, can see a very slight watch mark.

My mum said I'M SPOILING EVERYTHING.
Haha, my iPod touch and watch is screwed so send for warranty.
Watch is beyond repair so they are going to let me choose any watch of a particular price because my that watch is like not there anymore.
And they are going to give me a new iPod touch.
So everything new.

I think I'm going to sleep real soon and do a lot a lot of work tmr!

HAPPY NIU YEAR!! :D
Haha, I think it's really cool the NIU, especially when jenny NIU wishes us that.

Yesterday, just went to ahma's house for visiting.
After having lunch, we just played blackjack! (:
Won a bit and the whole gambling thing was really fun!
Haha dylan, the youngest among us actually put one dollar per bet at one time.
And we are like 10/ 20 cents.
But in the end, he won the most!
But soon we got sick of gambling.

Soon, more and more people came and the house was just really packed with people, hardly had space to move!!

Dylan was so bored so he decided to scoot along the corridors.
Haha, he actually asked me to chase him, but I didn't because I didn't want to get sweaty and all.
Oh he is brilliant in making up his own games that he is the only one that can understand.
So we just stayed at the corridor and talk, since inside was just too noisy and crowded ):

CNY IS COMING! :D
I'm feeling quite excited!
Haha, I hope to get lots of money from angpaos despite the recession and WIN BIG BIG in gambling!!

Yesterday, it was sad that we couldn't wear cny/ red clothes ):
PLUS, it was school as normal, actually there was only 2 blocks of lessons but the plan changed ):
But we still had performance during assembly which was pretty good.
TOO BAD they didn't have CAI SHEN DAO, VALERIE'S FAVOURITE SONG!
Haha, she sings it everyday.
I think the crosstalk was really funny!! I mean who knew these 2 men were that entertaining (:

And because we were sitting right in front, the lions during the lion dance got really near and that jenny was like screaming and moving back!! HAHAHA.

At the finale, the performers threw chocolate coins and then hejia and co up on stage wanted to chocolates so valerie threw them up.
Then hejia threw one back down and it landed right ON VALERIE'S HEAD.
Janine: Wah valerie, your hair can catch ah. (something along that line)

Chinese that day was really slack.
Did a CNY quiz and had a competition to answer the CNY questions that the laoshi gives.
Haha, and then we were supposed to create something using angpaos.

Had physics after school, ate so much HEI BEE HIEM, brought by quek (:
And went to swim after that.
While I was swimming, this really irritating half angmoh boy kept on blocking my way!! But being nice and patient, I decided to just let him be.
But he was being really dumb; he was in the round float splashing around, trying to get the ball.

Went to ntuc after that to buy stuff for CNY - drinks and goodies.
Bought HEI BEE HIEM :D shamaine's favourite!
Oh there was actually one packet left open right at the back of the shelf and that was the only packet left, and I realised it so I took it out, not knowing that it had a hole, and some fell out.
Haha, then mum asked me to try so I took one from the packet and tried! Omg, like stealing man.
But in the end, we still bought the bottle one.

Oh and mum bought even more CNY decorations because they were like 3 FOR ONE DOLLAR!
Like SOOO CHEAP CAN!

Had curry for dinner.
Mum and I fought for the big tv at 10pm!!
I wanted to watch ghost whisperer and mum wanted to watch her whatever show.

Mum: You go the other side and watch la, I want to watch my show.
Me: HUHHHH.
Mum: Haiya you, that show so bullshit, CNY coming still watch ghost.

Haven't been doing much, like everyday I come home and watch shows like american idol.

Yes, so the thing circulating around the class this week was about the so called "HOT" chinese teacher which looks gay and is so skinny!
So one day, after morning assembly, woonki, shitian and amelia decided to run in front of him just to catch his face.
They made it so obvious la, so when he was going down the steps, I saw him looking up and giving that weird smile.

Had selection trials on wed.
Hanged out at the npcc room before that.
Apparently, they gave priority to sport trials!! DAMN UNFAIR RIGHT!
Anw, mr ganesh came in to give sherm some admin stuff to settle.
And we ate chocolates which serene gave us and was EXTRA DARK.
Haha mr ganesh saw that as a racist joke, haha.

We had to wear FULL UNIFORM, the one dreadful thing.
Haha, I had to refer to arrange my badges the night before.

At first, shamaine, hanissa and myself were only in charged of ushering, only cheryl koh, duxuan and mr leek were interviewing.
So I begged them to let me in the classroom, haha and mr leek agreed (:
So we took turns to go inside the room to see the interviews.

Some of them speaked so them softly!! I had to lean in front and strain my ears to get what they are hearing.
Some looked really scared, and I was smiling at them, trying to make them feel more comfortable.
Duxuan looked so terribly serious, gosh, trying to scare the poor sec ones!

Shamaine is totally crushing a sec one already, insisting that she's pretty!
Haha she even knows her full name and her email.
SIGH, if that girl comes to our cca, shamaine is going to show her favourtism.

Had class deco after school on thurs.
So huiqing drew the NICEST SHEEP, hence we decided to use hers.
Cutting, drawing, outlining 38 sheeps was a tough job.

My mum once asked my dad why he supported manu?
And he said he liked the way they played.
Then, she asked me why I supported liverpool?
And I went,"I dunno?"

I seriously have no idea why I decided to support liverpool!
Okay, I probably started watching soccer when I was in primary school, 7-8?
Haha, okay I cannot remember la, maybe when I was kindergarten, I started watching already.
But at that time, I just watched alongside my dad who supported manu so I think we watch manu matches most of time.
I got a rough idea of the good and bad teams.

I TOOK A REALLY LONG TIME GETTING THE OFFSIDE RULE.
Everytime the linesman raises the flag, I will be like HUH WHY LIKE THAT? GOT OFFSIDE MEH? And no matter how many times my mum and dad explain it to me, I still won't get it.
But now, I GET IT ALREADY LA. HAHA.

Anw, when I was watching soccer matches, I just expected the better teams to win.
But I guess I was a neutral viewer, I didn't side any good teams.

Oh except for international soccer, I supported england because uh, I guess england was really popular then and like all the players are pretty well-known.
But now I don't really support england anymore.

So I slowly got to know players and the game of soccer.
The first player I knew was probably david beckham. Haiya, I actually not very sure.
I think right, I got to know most of the england players, like BECKHAM AND OWEN.

And when did I start to support liverpool?
Maybe somewhere in P5-6, I started to take a liking towards liverpool.
Maybe it was because of steven gerrard or michael owen?
Or maybe because manu was just too popular and then I thought liverpool was good?
Haha, okay I tend to support the dark-horse teams, not teams who are the most popular and keep on winning.

So the liking and craze grew stronger!
I remember when I was in sec2, there was a period of time my mum cancelled cable and my dad and I were so deprived of soccer! Haha, we were like complaning everyday!
So when the free gift she was waiting for came along, you can't imagine how happy we were.
So as the craze got stronger, the hate for manu became stronger too, okay no offence there.

Till now, I still don't get why people support MANU? Especially my dad?
Gosh, and laocai!! OMG like she's the nicest manu fan around la, doesn't suan people and is so modest!! If all manu fans are like her, I would so greatly appreciate it!!
Well, I do know people who support that team because they keep winning, and they support whichever team that is the top of the table.
That is really RIDICULOUS, I mean like this isn't support at all.

Let me tell you why I don't like manu.
They are cocky, eg. CRISTIANO RONALDO IS A EGOISTIC FELLA.
I think he is the main reason why I hate that team la and the manager too.
Okay, I agree that ronaldo is good at soccer but he can be modest about it what. That's his problem man!!
But I do admire park and rooney.

So one thing why I support liverpool is because I feel that they are a united team and they have great character! (:
And yes that's why I chose them amongst all the 4 'big' teams.

I remember the champions league final where liverpool won ac milan coming from 0-3 down to win based on penalty shoot out.
And I think I was P6 then.
I was SO SO TOUCHED AFTER THAT, and everytime I see that on youtube, I just feel like my heart bursting with pride and I feel so happy!! :D
Haha, maybe my craze grew because of that.

Of course, I will be happy when l'pool wins and disappointed/ frustrated when they lose/ draw.
Haha, but I do not really take it to heart, after all how is liverpool winning the title going to affect me, just maybe being happy for a week and having a chance to show off to your fellow rival fans. I would really love to do that one day though.
I will be sad for a little while when it all goes bad but I will just forget about the whole thing soon after.
Of course, I really hate people suaning me but I guess that's what makes the whole thing interesting.

Indeed, there are things I really don't understand about liverpool, like the manager's tactics and choice of players.
I just find it really weird why he's doing this and that?
But one good thing about the manager is that he is a really cool man and doesn't show his emotions easily, I just dunno how he controls his excitement when liverpool scores. He just sits there like nothing just happened.
And I do find some players really lousy but they're still in liverpool.

Okay, I also like aston villa since maybe last season but of course not as much as liverpool!
And look at them, they are doing well this season! (:
Haha, I always thought that team was going to do well someday.

Kaka has also won my admiration hands down man! :D
He's such a great great man, argueably better than gerrard I'm afraid in terms of his character and values.
He's a devout christian and he's such a loyal player to ac milan.
Come on, like man city offered 500,000 pounds per week for him, and he still chooses to stay at ac milan.

I don't think soccer is just about winning, it's more about the emotions you go through.

The third week of school has began!
Although school is rather busy and all that, but I still look forward to school everyday! :D

Today was IHG opening ceremony so we all wore our house shirts!
Nothing really special, only revealing the house banners.
Haha, jenny was really funny on stage!!
Oh and we lined up according to our sec one classes! :D Oh man, I miss 102! (:

Mr ng showed us many different dice today, 20-face, 10-face etc.
Hmm and we did a coin tossing thing on the topic on probability.
OMG, tossing too many times can make you tired!! Haha and I had like 9 times in a row HEADS.

Had physics diagnostic test today and I barely studied.
Luckily it was MCQ, if not I wouldn't know how to do at all.
Haha, and it was like something really serious, we separated tables and we did on OAS sheets!
And mr thio sounded pissed when we kind of make noise during the test.

We watched children of heaven for geog and it's like really similar to homerun.
Haha, but I guess it's better because it's the original and the 2 kids in there are really cute! :D
I can't believe the class was screaming when they were going down the hill on a bicycle, knowing that they will crash.
But in the end, the impact of the crash wasn't there, haha.

Mr tee didn't come for bio today because he was on leave, he just got married on saturday! Haha.
So mr chia came in and taught us, seriously he teachers so much better than mr tee.
I learnt like so much more during that lesson than all the lessons mr tee has been teaching.

Went for dental after school.
My dentist said that it is going to be okay real soon!! (:
She said my lower teeth is okay already, just need to push the top front 2 teeth inner and she totally tightened it la.
But I ate painkillers just in case so I can eat without much trouble.
PAINKILLERS ARE SUCH A BIG HELP!!

My weekend was quite uhm wasted, haha like I practically didn't do much work.
I only did work on sat afternoon and sunday night.

On saturday night, I had family dinner at a jap restaurant at revenue house (novena).
Uh, it sells 99 cents sushi and there are outlets at the cathay and kallang leisure park.
Haha so we dined inside a private room and you have to take out your shoes to get in, the tables were all arranged in japanese style.
So when you want to take sushi, you have to get out and get it and you have to wear your shoes.
Soon later, I gave up and just walked around in my socks. Come on, it was so TROUBLESOME to wear shoes and take them off again.

Okay got back and watched soccer.
Haha, I shall control my anger here.

Went to church on sunday.
I can't believe isaac actually ripped off his arm because of water polo.
Haha, so he has to wear this support thing aka something like a bra.
And he finally experiences how it's like being a woman.
"I dunno how you all can wear a bra, it's so uncomfortable!"
He just kept adjusting it and it was not a pleasant sight.

Our group switched room to a bigger one.
The next room of our old one is always very very noisy and we have to shut them up everytime.

Had twelve stones welcome tea after that.
Food was really pathetic because of the tight budget and uh, andrew was probably the wrong guy to do it.
Anw, it was fun to see new members joining, so I won't be the junior member anymore (:

Met my parents at bedok central after that.
They bought a lot of cheap CNY decorations! Like really cheap, $1 each.
And MUM FINALLY BOUGHT KUEH BANGKIT!!! :DDD
Gosh, do you know how long i've been waiting for that!!!! HAHA LIKE FROM THE DAY I FINISHED THE LAST COOKIE LAST YEAR.
And I'm trying to consume them in moderation, so that when CNY comes, there'll still be some of them.
You know CNY is just all about EATING AND GAMBLING?

I'm glad that the week is finally over.
It has been so so busy and it's only the second week.

We had a new sitting arrangement so now I'm sitting right in front on the extreme right so when you see the board/ teacher you need to tilt your head and chair.
And my tablemates are farah, siti, charlene, janine & chriselle.
The group behind us is really really nonsense, amelia, hejia, jenny, valerie, yingyin and huiqing!

There was chem diagnostic test and math test!!
Uh, math was really annoying to study because you had to recap like most of the topics last year and just practise and practise until you can't stand it any longer.
But the test turned out to be quite okay I guess.

We went back to labrador park for seagrass on monday and mr lim's tide table is so not accurate!!!
We already complained to him and he apologised in not a very sincere way.
Okay anw, we had to wait for really long before the tide went down.
By then, jiemin had to leave for organ lesson so cheryl koh and myself were left to do 33 quadrats.
It took quite a while because we only had one quadrat and one less person.
Haha soon, even my parents reached already and we weren't done yet.
We even manage to catch the sunset.

Went home really late and by the time I started work, it was like 9+ already.
So in the end I slept really late.

Had npcc exco meeting on tuesday.
It was rather productive in my opinion.
And I can't believe sherm didn't turn up because she had no idea about it so I had to take down minutes.
Haha, I had no idea what to take down la like seroiusly, and mr leek was like,"eh! how come you're not writing anything down"
And cca starts right after CNY, I think we are the cca to start the latest. Haha.
Oh and kayaking is on the 30th and 31st.
How am I going to enjoy my birthday like that!!

And we are going to have selection trials, SO UBER COOL.
Plus, we got some good response!! (:
And thank god, we have a quota this year if not there would be too many of them and all of them like don't have a choice, then join npcc.

And thursday was CHERYL KOH'S BIRTHDAY!!!
22 people shared the cost of buying an ipod nano for her simply because she really needs a new mp3.
Her current creative one is like gosh, has scotch tape around it and it's like 512mb.
We thought she would be very surprised but jenny spoiled all the excitement!!
She dropped such a big hint la!!
But she better use the ipod!!

We wanted to give it to her before school and gathered everyone together but she want to the pavillion for some osl thing, screwed up our plan.
But in the end, we gave her when she came back to class.
And that yingyin took back the present because she wanted to see cheryl's expression when she opens the present lter.
But cheryl koh already knows what the present is after seeing all the cards.

After school on friday, I went for a swim.
It has been ages since I last swam.
And after that, went to pick daddy up and we went to tampines mall to eat din tai fung!! :DD
The xiao long bao there is really really good!!
And the food there is good too although the portions are pretty small but they are better than crystal jade.
All the waitresses there are like from china, haha my mum told me that there are like 1 million china people here in singapore.

I bought iweekly because they gave out a free goodie bag and they didn't have any 8days left ):
I attempted to read but kind of failed. Haha.

And tampines mall was really crowded and it has also been ages since I last been there.
I used to go there quite often during my primary school days because that's like the nearest cinema from my school.
Haha, I always don't understand why tampines mall and century square both have a cinema each and they are next to each other and PARKWAY DOESN'T HAVE A CINEMA.
Mum says parkway will be crowded like crazy if there was a cinema there.

Went back home and watched ghost whisperer!! (:
My mother keeps on claiming it's a bullshit show but it's such a sweet show!!

And the new american idol season has started!!
I was watching part of the episode on wednesday but I missed the thursday's one because I had to study math and sleep early.
HAHAHA the auditions are all so funny and the new judge is pretty too!

Let's see, lessons have been quite good so far.
We did word search and watched mind your language during english.
And hurray that we can eat during both english and math!! :D

Haha, it was quite interesting but at some parts really sick.
And mr tee is such a dirty-minded teacher and he jerks a lot.

We took our height and weight during pe.
I'm so like heavy and I didn't grow!!
Haha but no matter how much I try to lose a little weight, I still don't because i just cannot resist the temptation to eat so oh wells, I just can't be bothered.
And we run around the track in 2s and we just kick the ball around lor.

First day of lessons today!
Not much of teaching, more of an overview of the whole year.

Ms lim insists on us queueing up according to register number in every morning assembly everyday!!
All the other classes were like staring at us.
Even at hall assembly we have to sit according to register numbers.
Haha, and her reason is that it will make the secretary's job easier.

Anw, the sec 4s now are like right at the back of the parade square and we can barely hear or see anything.
Like jessica and the people up there all look so small.

After morning assembly, we went to the koi pond for contact time.
Mr kevin ng, our clet, was just getting to know us.
So we sat in a circle and played a few getting to know each other games.

First lesson was chem.
Ms goh gave us a quiz and I practically didn't know how to do most of the questions.
Haha oh wells I'm going to study chem stuff soon all right (:

SS was the same old thing. Haha.
PT is 30%!!!
And ms lim has already given us readings to read ): which I read until I got bored at the last part there.

Ms Kum is pregnant!!
Haha, didn't realise a bump when I met her yesterday, must be not very obvious yet.
Oh and she also a fan of the little nonya drama which ended yesterday.
I think the ending was really stupid.

Mr ng came in for math class today.
We are having mathematics comprehension in our eya, omg like how dumb can this be? And what is that anw?
And next week's test is like 8% and basically math percentages are always so weird.
Even journals are certain percentage man.

Mr ng is getting married and people like kaypoh jenny asked so many questions. Haha.
How he proposed was really funny!! Haha, he went on both knees, and the girl was asked,"are you praying to me?"

He's just a really weird teacher.
He kept on emphasising that studying is not just about exams, blah blah.
And a few of the class introduced themselves something memorable so that he can remember.
So that when he sleep, he can dream about you and an image flash through his mind and he will call out your name. HAHAHA, that's what he said.
And seriously, he is sick la! Gosh, and he will be telling a lot of stories along the way, he says that it is just him.

There was RS too.
Haha, my seagrass knowledge has already turned rusty after not touching it for the whole of holidays!
And we are going down to lab park this friday! :D

The queues at the canteen were so incredibly ridiculous especially during lunch.
It's like all 4 levels lunch together like that.

Oh and I forgot to bring my wallet today.
Yesterday, yingyin and I took $50 each from janine's wallet yesterday.
She said she was broke and then there was so much money in her wallet.
And we all went home and totally forgot about it until I suddenly remembered on the way for lunch.

Janine insists that her roxy jacket is nice when it's not really.
Actually, yingyin looks better in it.

I'm down with FLUUUUU!! ):
I suspect dad spread it to me!
Last night, while I was sleeping, my nose was suddenly jammed and I felt so irritated!!
I was so lazy to get up and take tissue paper which I eventually did so because I couldn't sleep with a jammed nose.

On friday night, watched air force one on chn5.
It was quite an interesting movie although it is like really old and it stars harrison ford but oh wells, dad and I got addicted to it.
It is an action kind of movie so it was quite exciting, like james bond.
Yes and there was ghost whisperer which is still my favourite show of all time!! :DD

I slept after that because I was so tired ):
I couldn't sleep the night before.
It's quite hard to get back to the wake up early everyday thing.

Yesterday, I WALKED to parkway by ecp.
ECP was so so crowded esp at the macs area there.
Had dinner at parkway and took a bus back.

Slept at 11+ and woke up at 1am to watch the preston vs liverpool fa cup match.
Gerrard played a good game although he was arrested and all that and the preston were like jeering whenever he got the ball.
THEY ARE ALL SO BAD.
But he still had the confidence to play.
I'm sure he got into that fight for a reason, like he kena agitated or something.

Torres was also back in action after injury.
Preston is actually not a bad team, in my opinion.
I thought they were the better side in the second half but liverpool pesisted and got another last minute goal from torres, which was an easy one because all the preston players were in their attacking half.
Haha, gerrard was so nice to pass it to him okay. I thought gerrard would have scored that one himself.
He's such an unselfish player! (:
The frist goal was a really nice one from reira!

Today had the first church service of 2009 (:

Monday, 291208

Went to school for CCAO preparation.
Prepared stickers and what not.

So shamaine was complaning that she was hungry, hanissa also, but more of shamaine.
Haha, even the food I provided her wasn't enough so they decided to call mcdelivery.

Hanissa went to call for it.
And we forced her to ask whether there was student meal which to think about it was a very dumb question.
Haha, according to hanissa, the woman was quite pissed.
Okay, but then she said we had to wait for around one hour!
Like so damn long right, so we decided to cancel it.

Then hanissa called back and cancelled la but then we weren't sure whether it was like officially cancelled because the receiver was very soft and couldn't really hear and hanissa could easily get the order number wrong.
But then, the lady called back la and officially cancelled it.

After that, my parents came to fetch me and went for lunch.
And went to sim lim because dad wanted to buy some electronic stuff.
Uh, he actually has $400 to spend on electronics given by the education ministry every year.
So mum bought a DVD recorder so still left some money and it was already the end of the year.
I bought a thumbdrive. I have like 3 thumbdrives already.
And thumbdrives are seriously getting cheaper and cheaper.

Had dinner at her house, damn a lot of food.

Played taboo.
And we had chocolate fondue with fruits which was GREAT!!! :DD

Janine's father was really really nice by helping us clean up after that!

We stayed up until 5am +, talking on the bed.
When janine's ahma woke up already, we haven't slept yet!
I was dozing off already la, then they kept on asking me whether I'm awake.

That jenny the first to sleep but she woke up early the next day because she had something on.

Okay, we talked about a lot of crap!!
A lot of scandals and just plain nonsense la.
Amelia heard part of it when we thought she's all sleeping.
But she still damn pig la, sleep the most among us still want to sleep more.
And yes, we woke up at 12noon, around there.

Woke up and ate lunch.
Okay, it was suppposed to be breakfast but there was so much food!!
Like janine's house seriously has loads of GOOD FOOD!
And we were supposed to go to the airport for lunch at crystal jade la mian xiao long bao.

Janine's dad fetched us home.
Seriously, her parents are really nice!!
And made our stay there so pleasant!! :D
I really appreciate all that they have done.

It was new year's eve so went to church for watchnight service.
Every year is like the same thing.
Just before midnight, they will switch off all the lights and you start to reflect upon your year.
And before you know it, the pastor says IT'S 2009.
And they switch on the lights, you shake everyone hands and wish them and they play the same old music.
Haha, it's just like that every year.
And you can hear the fireworks from outside.

First day of school!!

I can't believe I'm that old already, like a sec4.
Nothing much happened because it was the same old class with same old people so no much adapting to do.
Our class was on the 3rd level, seriously nothing can beat the location of our last year's class.

Our form is ms lim!!
Everyone got a shock when we saw her in class, so like she will be teaching us again.
Haha, we totally got a scare when it was thought that our form was mr tee.
And I really hope we can good teachers for the different subjects.

Haha, I seriously think our class is the best! (:
All the nonsense people are in it and our HOT PINK shirt which received much attention.
And gives me great pleasure to be with the class for another year.

NPCC
I really do love my cca although I hate wearing the uniform. Haha.
But highlights of this year has been the campcraft competition which we trained really really hard!!
And there was survivor camp at ubin and all the scandals in our cca. Haha.

RS Group!!
Cheryl koh and jiemin has been such good group members although laocai is no longer there ):
And our project on seagrass is very exciting!!
Going down to labrador park and observe seagrass is really fun! Haha.
Yes and we went down to marina barrage to showcase our project which the PM visisted too (:

A club that I will FOREVER support!!! :D
And they are top of the league table for 2008 so hopefully, they will persevere all the way and win the title!!
OMG, they have waited for this title for NINETEEN YEARS!!
Gerrard, torres and alonso are still my favourite players (: although gerrard is arrested and all that but I still love him! Haha.

Yes, the olympics was just so enjoyable to watch.
Such an incredible opening ceremony at beijing.
And with michael phelps winning 8 golds and shawn johnson!!
Of course, singapore finally with a silver medal at table tennis.
Feng tianwei just won so many fans.
And I remember wanting to watch the olympics all the time although there were some exams around the corner.

F1 in Singapore
So much about the hype about it, the first night race!!
Haha and seriously I think it sparked my interest in F1.
I thought it was a really boring sport, I mean like just cars going round and round.
But OMG, it was so interesting!! Haha, my eyes were hooked onto the tv during the race.
It can be so unexpected, like who would know that fernando alonso would win at the singapore race when he started like 14th.
And that boo boo that massa got into just caused him the title.
I watched the final race okay!! And the last lap was like OMG!!
I thought massa won already and that stupid timo glock slowed down to let lewis hamilton to be 5th.
Vettel was good to overtake hamilton!
Oh wells, I don't like hamilton at all ):

Tennis
The year where nadal became world number one!! :D
Haha, he won the wimbledon, french open and olympics!
And it just wasn't federer's year.
Haha, although I support nadal, I find federer okay, not like how I hate manu or hamilton.

PHUKET HOLIDAY!

The trip to phuket has been really relaxing and fun! :D
Actually, if you see the wall-to-wall of wenyan and me on facebook, most of the insights are already there!

Yes, I met her there!
It was such a coincidence!
I met her on the street and then we started waving to each other but we didn't stop and talk!
But the next next day, I went down for breakfast and then I passed a girl I thought looked like wenyan but wasn't sure.
Then, she walked passed my table to get food (it was buffet breakfast), then I was definite it was her.
So I met her at the buffet place.
I mean it was such a coincidence! Gosh, we met on the streets and we were staying at the same hotel!

So I spent 10 whole nights there!
I know it sounds crazy to spend such a long time in phuket but it wasn't that bad.
I heard that some angmohs spend like a month there! Haha.

Speaking about them, there is one whole load of angmohs!!
Like my hotel, all the stayers were angmohs until wenyan and family came by.
All around the beach and streets of patong beach are just angmohs!
I think the only time you see thais around are those that are working.
And phuket totally earns their money through tourism.
I just see angmohs EVERYWHERE!
Sometimes I don't even know what language they are talking about, but dad says there are many russians.
Russian, german and what not all sound similar to me. Haha.

At first, you feel really really weird to see all the angmohs around you but after a while, you get used to it I guess (:

It's really easy to spot a singaporean.
Okay maybe appearances may deceive you because they may be from china/ hk/ japan or other asian countries, but once they speak, you surely know if they come from singapore.

Mum: i think he's a teacher.
Me: huh? how do you know?
Mum: he has the teacher look.
Me: what!? how can you tell.
Mum: teachers all dress very simple
(dad agreed)

Don't ask me how they can tell a teacher from the dressing.
A group of ladies passed by and mum said they were teachers too.
Wow, I should have asked them whether they were really teachers.

Our hotel was seaview hotel and it was at the end of patong beach.
And there was a balcony and view of the beach from the room although the view is blocked my trees.

Everyday, we wake up and go down for breakfast.
Alarm clock is at 0845 but it seems that we go down for breakfast later and later each day.
As expected, I'm the latest to wake up after mum and dad gets ready.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel is really good! (:
Really good range, a lot of bread, fruits, veggie and even icecream!
So usually we are really really full after breakfast and have lunch at around 3/4, or we just skip straight to dinner.
After breakfast, we go for a walk at the beach, on the sand, unless it's really really hot!

Patong beach is really lovely!
The sand is so shiny, like it glitters under the sunlight and the water is so clear!
But the whole stretch of beach has beach chairs and umbrellas, which I think destroys the natural look of the beach.
Anw, we once walked from one end of the beach to the other hand and back!
It's like one whole stretch and walking on sand is no joke!
My legs were all aching after that.

You can jetski, parasail and even canoe there!
I remember they spell canoe as CANOO!
But I don't remember taking a photo of that.
Everytime you pass by, they will say jetski jetski? parasail?
And there are like quite a few you have the walk pass.
And I didn't go on any of them because first, jeiski didn't have insurance and I guess it was dangerous, if something happens to you suddenly and then you're gone.
Second, parasailing looked fun but I scared!! They went so high.
And the main reason is that the price wasn't really worth it.
You parasail for like 5 minutes and then you come down and you pay so much for it!

But it is fun to walk down the shoreline and look at people!
People jogging, swimming, sunbathing, sleeping!

Mum: eh! that guy looks like beckham?
Me: where where?
(mum pointing)
Me: ehhhh! he really looks like leh!! gosh!
Mum: you think beckham can sit down like that ah? (he was alone)

And seriously, he totally looks like him!
Maybe if I go nearer, he won't look like but his hairstyle is like his and he has tattoos too on his arm too!

Mum: that girl very skinny!
Me: gosh, yes!!!

She had such a slim waist I tell you, probably 20 inches.

Mum: wah! ah ma's gang!
Me: hahaha. here got a lot la!

Yes, a lot of fat old women around but they still dare to wear bikini and show that flabs.
Haha, but some aren't that shameless, they wear one piece ones.

Me: haha, that guy sleeping!
Mum: i bet i put you there, you will also sleep!
Me: haha, i think so too.

We didn't sit on the beach chairs on the beach though.

Okay, many many bikini babes around!
Basically, most of them are wearing bikini.
And no, I didn't wear one if you wanted to know (:
Some were topless, showing off their boobs and it's just free show for the guys.
Haha, I don't know how they manage to do that, but I once saw a japanese woman topless in the beaches of bali.
And how can they suntan their boobs? Gosh, won't they hurt if they are sunburned?
But there are really some fit ass bikini girls around!
They had abs and a splendid figure.
And of course, on the other hand, some had flabs hanging here and there!
You could just wear your lingerie down the beach and no one would care because they would all think that it's a bikini.

Yes, there were hot cute guys too! Haha.
They were just really handsome and muscular la, with their cool hair and nice eyes!
I seriously can't stand the fact why angmohs have such nice deep eyes and sharp noses!
Of course there are other men who have pot bellies. Haha.

There were really sweet couples around!
They hold hands, walking on the sand, even the older couples.
Surprisingly, I didn't see anyone making out. Haha.
I expected some couple to be making out in the beach in broad daylight.
I remember that time I went america, the couple queueing in front of me for some disneyland ride were kissing every second.
Like the guy wants to talk and the girls just puts her mouth on his.
I was SIX then and I still remember it, that's the impact it gave me, that was how disgusting it was.

And there were cute kids around!!
I wanted to join them in making sandcastles.

The sunset was really beautiful! (:

Dad and I went to swim in the sea once.
The water was really clear, like you could still see your feet even when you're at the deep part.
That wasn't actually swimming, it was more like soaking in the sea for the experience.

But we went swimming in the pool at the hotel, almost everyday, after the morning walk at the beach.
Anw, there are 2 pools where both aren't really pools for swimming, they are more for just dipping.
So dad and I will make use of the available space as much as possible and swim.
Uh, there's also jacuzzi which only operates for certain times of the day so when we see it is on, we quickly go down, including mum.
She only goes down for the jacuzzi!

I sat on the beachchair by the pool and took photos, like this coconut tree.

After that, we would go out and walk out, walk along the streets - shop and eat! :D
I'm proud to say that I didn't buy any pirated DVDs or music CDs!
And there are many stalls that sell clothes, sunglasses, watches etc etc but all imitation.
Okay but on the other hand, there is starbucks, fast food - macs, burger king, kfc.
But I think the prices of those are about the same as singapore's when you expect it to be cheaper.
So I only ate fast food once but went to starbucks quite a few times because there was live music at the next door.

And there were a lot of thai massage shops along the streets.
Everytime, someone would go," cheap cheap thai massage", sometimes it's really annoying.

There is this big shopping mall called jungceylon, what a name right, unique but hard to remember.
Haha, I was wondering how to pronounce it until some promoter mentioned it.
Anw, there was a departmental store - robinson and carrefour.
There was also a cinema and bowling.

We went there to bowl where I beat dad at one game but he beat me in the next.
Mum didn't play because she sucked at it (she admitted that) and I guess she was embarrassed?
And we watched quantum of solace at the cinema.
I let mum choose and she let dad choose so he chose james bond. Why? Because of the girls.
Mum actually went to ask the ticketing person at first which movie was better and he said," same same."
We were actually choosing between twilight and quantum of solace.
Now thinking about it, I should have watched twilight since it hasn't even officially opened in singapore.

The seats were pretty lousy because we took the cheapest one.
Once you sit, the seat goes back, haiya I dunno how to explain and the seats are quite narrow but the ticket prices are cheaper of course.
I remember there was a trailer showing some thai movie, it was so sad I tell you, almost cried okay during the trailer. Haha, plus I didn't understand what they were talking about. If I watch the whole movie, I would be in tears.
And just before the movie, they play the thai national anthem and we all have to stand up to pay respect to the king.
I thought dad was kidding when he told me that before.

The movie was quite good although I think casino royale was better and more romance in it.
Haha, shamaine ho said very hard to understand, I thought it was uh, understandable.
But you can't fully understand a james bond movie, just enjoy the action and excitement (:
Mum surprisingly didn't sleep at any point of the movie because she slept during The Dark Knight. Like hello?! That batman movie was like one of the best of this year!! She doesn't like to watch all the bullshit, superhero kinds, she like the touching ones or comedy.

Haha, there was a really big poster of liverpool at the sports shop and I went crazy over it!

And they have specially manu and arsenal shops okay!
Like the whole shop sells only their goods but the stuff are pretty expensive.
But still, they didn't have a liverpool one ):

Hmm, food was really good at phuket.
Like everyday, we eat good food! (:
I was so delighted when I saw fuji japanese restaurant at jungceylon.
Haha they had outlets at bangkok and I love eating there!
The food there is really good and cheap as well! :D
If I'm not wrong, I ate there THRICE!

We ate at MK steamboat too.
The waiter was a bit gay, haha and he kept on saying a whole string of thai words after serving us which we totally didn't understand.
Okay, he was probably just being polite.

The restaurants there all use PDAs to take orders, super high-tech!!
Even better than singapore's!!!
I think it's really good because they send the orders straight to the kitchen and we can like just take our time to order.
Once, just after we ordered, the food arrived already (:

Yes, of course we ate THAI food too.
And everytime we eat that, we always order tom yum soup!! :D
Tom yum soup there is SO DAMN GOOD.
It's like sour but probably not spicy enough.
Haha, I always drink the whole bowl but too bad we cannot ask for more!

The thai food there is just really good, not like thai express in singapore.
The fried fish and red curry just damn damn nice!! I really miss it! :D
Oh the fried kway teow also very nice!
And the prices are so much cheaper!

The crepe was really good although it's sold from a motorbike stall but it's quite hygenic la.

We didn't really eat fast food or western food because you can easily find those food in singapore.

I like the soft drinks in the glass bottles, too bad they don't have it in singapore (:
They have cans too but they usually serve bottles.
The bottles are so sleek and classic although they are old-fashioned.
But old fashion is the new classic! (:
Haha, MY STATEMENT THERE!

I think their sport shops are pretty cool, they are like super big and have a wider range of products.
And they have manu and arsenal stores, like the store itself just sell all their products but too bad they don't have liverpool store ):
But the things there are pretty expensive.

There was one time we took the public bus, which was not air-conditioned and you can just pop your head out of the windows.
And of course there are tuktuks and taxis, which are usually private cars.
Those are pretty expensive okay, more expensive than singapore which is ridiculous.
There is always one whole row of tuktuks along the road and drivers asking you "TUKTUK, TUKTUK"
And others ask you whether you want a one day tour around phuket island.
But we usually just walk around.

But the motorbike rental is quite cheap but we can't go on a motorbike.

The nightlife there is pretty amazing, like all the clubs just come to life.
There was this one club which had ahkuas, they are really pretty but when they speak, you just know they are actually guys.
Also, there are guys going around carrying iguanas, asking you to take photo with the iguana.

Phuket airport is like crap man I tell you!
There's NOTHING there.
Singapore's airport is still the best! :D

We departed from terminal 2 but you could travel by sky train to terminal 3 transit area.
They had a butterfly park there and a ferrari shop!!! But it was so expensive ):

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! :D

I had such a great christmas buffet dinner yesterday night.
Mum and I went to the crowne prince hotel at terminal 3.
Although the buffet was pretty expensive, mum was giving treat!!

The buffet was so damn good!!
There was sashimi and a lot of other food!!
The spread was very good, so was the dessert.
I ate until I was SO SO FULL that I couldn't walk properly.
Haha, but it made me really happy (:

And today, I went to orchard with mummy.
We went to mango THREE times, 3 different outlets.
Mum said different outlets had different stuff which isn't true.
And in the end, she only bought one shirt and I bought nothing.
At first, mum asked me to buy pants but there were so many kinds of pants to choose from and I wasn't in a mood to try on.

And I met wanping and cheryl low at orchard.
Haha, I met cheryl THREE times already.
Gosh, fate has brought us together again and again.

I finally put up my christmas tree today!
It's not too late, it's never too late. Haha.

I had ym camp from 18th to the 21st! :D
The camp was at the NUS Prince George's Park Residences.
That place seriously looks like a condo, haha.
And we had individual rooms - which had a bed, table, mirror, cupboard and sink.
Haha, that means I had to rely on my alarm to wake up.
There was really tight security, we had to use this transponder to get through the lift, gate and the room door.

I was in the group M'Kaddesh and tribe John.
Uh, I think the games this year wasn't as fun as last year's.
And thank god the aircon at the hall was not as cold as sports school.
But the worship and sermons were really powerful and great!! :D
It showed me how awesome God is and he loves all of us! (:

Anw, camp was really awesome! (:
And I love my group! :D
We are going out someday together!

Sorry, not going into details because I can't really be bothered.

M'Kaddesh

After break camp yesterday, went to have lunch and then went home to sleep from 6-9.
Woke up because mum disturbed me and went to have dinner.

Today, went out with andrea, eunice and andrea to vivo to watch four christmases.
The show was okay okay only, was really short.
Andrea and eunice were late while jiayee and I were really early.

I'm really happy to see them (:
Eunice is still the same old her, so childish and I can't believe she is chairperson for her cca although her cca has only 30 people.
And we both realise that we support raikkonnen and liverpool and she insists I copied her and she likes alonso!
Haha, but I doubt she is a crazy liverpool fan like me, she hates manu too anw. Haha.
Okay, despite our common interests, she supports federer while I suppport nadal.
And she is as loud as ever, she was talking so loudly in the cinema la, even I was embarrassed.

Okay basically everyone is still the same (:
Andrea is still the most guai one.
Jiayee is still her lor, haha she and her stitch.
She's one primary school friend that I see the most often :D

I want to watch the day the earth stood still, yes man and australia!
Haha, I actually wanted to watch twilight but since many of them have said it wasn't that good.

Went with jiayee to watch bolt today! (:

I thought the movie was good! :D

We went to watch the 11.40 show at ps.
Had lunch at thai express.
Haha, the tom yum soup was good, both spicy and sour until my stomach was churning but it was really shoik!

After that, we went to walk around until my parents came to pick us up.
I can't believe how crazy jiayee is over stitch. SIGH.
We are going out again next monday, together with eunice and andrea to watch either twilight or wild child.

Last thursday, I went to play badminton at marine parade cc with sherm, hanissa and 4 other guys.
We played for damn long until I was aching all over the next morning, couldn't walk properly.
And I went to the library to borrow books after the badminton.
And I read 2 books already, both lee child.

On saturday, I went to my aunty's chalet at downtown east.
They had some free concert there and it was quite entertaining.

Yesterday, had mahjong session from 6-12, having a break for dinner.
Haha, and I WON MONEY!!! :D
Plus, I was watching tv while playing mahjong!
I'm such a great multitasker!

Phuket post would probably be up next week.
I'm sorry but I'm still typing it.
And since I'm going for ym camp from thursday to sunday, I doubt I can finish it by tmr.

Dad cooked dinner yesterday!
He hasn't cook since the day I was born.
Haha so we went to the market and bought whatever stuff.
Dad cooked tom yum soup and some fried noodles.
Look at how phuket has influenced us with its thailand food culture.
I helped him plucked the roots of the beansprouts while watching tv.

I have no idea why he added coconut milk into the tomyum because apparently the recipe said so and it tasted like coconut!
Mum: How come so few pieces of chicken one? How much chicken did you use?
Because dad apparently used only less than half of the chicken to be put into the tom yum soup.

So dad is going to try it all over again today since he has the ingredients.
I just helped him take out the head and shell of the prawns and wash the veggie.

Went for dental today and doctor said I was making good progress, say maybe before chinese year, that means next visit, can take out braces already but there's no rush (:
After that, went to ntuc to buy stuff for tonight's dinner.
Before that, we went to popular and I bought more stationery and dad bought me assessment books. SIGH.
This year, my ruler has gone missing for dunno how many times already!

Oh I have started on my commonwealth essay, didn't even touch it during the phuket holiday like I previously thought I would. Haha, who was I kidding.
The topics aren't easy, how can you crap out a at least 1200 word essay on what makes a good teacher?
Okay in the end, I chose the football question.
When I first read the question, I was like WOAH! Can relate to me so well!

I'm browsing the liverpool online store now!

Hello! I'm back from phuket! :D
Actually I was back on friday night.
Phuket post will be up soon!

I slept at 3am the day I came back because phuket is an hour earlier than singapore's time.
I was watching the shows I taped - ghost whisperer and don't forget the lyrics!

At the flight back, they gave out newspapers (singapore) and then I realised there was ghost whisperer on that friday!
And I only taped the one last friday, because they said it was season finale and how would I know that they would air a new season right after the previous one, usually there would a break right?
So I missed that first episode of the season.
Actually, returned home at midnight!

My cousin's wife gave birth when we were on holiday so we went to visit them on saturday!
The baby is so gorgeous, oh man, she's so cute!
Her name is kristen and she peed on my mum's pants twice.
Before that, we went to eat roti prata!

On sunday, went for 5pm normal church service with parents because a lot of them were in retreat.
And I didn't go for the retreat because I came back on friday night and retreat started on the day itself!
After that, we went to orchard and saw a couple that was at the church service.
Orchard was really crowded, gosh probably because today is a public holiday!
The christmas lights on orchard road are quite nice! :D

Haha, I really like soccer gossip sites now!
They are so entertaining and funny! :D
The writer agrees that xabi alonso is handsome, ranking him in her finest 5!
Oh and speaking about him, there is gossip about him going away during the january transfer window!! ): Btw, I didn't get that from the website, haha.
And that arsenal is interested in buying him!
Oh man, I really hope that liverpool doesn't sell him!
Before the season, there was already speculation that he was going to be sold and thank god he didn't in the end!
He has been so good this season!

Okay, so phuket has been okay!
Haha, damn a lot of angmohs here! LIKE EVERYWHERE ALSO HAVE.
And the beach is full of bikini babes and hot guys! Haha, even topless women also have.
And GOOOOD FOOD!! :D

Haha yup, that's 10 long days but it is more for a relaxing trip than a sightseeing trip.

Rushed back to watch I survived a japanese gameshow!
Haha, I stupidly forgot to tape and we went to lagoon hawker centre to have dinner.
And dad walks SUPER FAST!
Gosh, couldn't really catch up with him although I wanted to watch the show.
Btw, he has short legs and walks super fast, gosh shame on me, haha.

Yes anw, I queued so FREAKING LONG for satay bee hoon, even though it was a weekend.
But when I finally got it, I pitied those at the back of the queue.
And when I was at the back of the queue, I was so jealous of those in front.

Okay, I'm glad that justin won I survived a japanese gameshow, not donnell!
He has been good throughout and definitely deserved to win.
What's shocking is that he has quite a fat girlfriend when he's quite good looking.
My mum was totally mocking the girlfriend. Haha.
I totally enjoy that show, all the funny games they play, all the ridiculous things they do and how the host mocks the contestants in jap.

Oh yes, dad had some school amazing race with his collegues on tuesday.
The way he was saying the whole thing was very funny.
"That car was trying to shake me off but I just followed him all the way!"
Haha, and being a teacher is the most stable job man, no matter what economic crisis and whatever and it's actually not bad.
School holidays, you'll also have holidays (:

I've been reading books these days! :D
3 books in 2 days!
Haha, all of them are crime thrillers!
I guess why I like them is because they are exciting and usually have unexpected endings! Not those cliche kind of stories you know.

This is a freaking brilliant book! :D
You should go read it! Haha.
There is romance, suspense, excitement!
And I like the way he writes, short chapters and paragraphs, making it much easier to read!

My mother keeps on insisting that torres is gay and he likes gerrard and they are boyfriend girlfriend DESPITE me repeating COUNTLESS TIMES that they are ATTACHED!!
When they hug each other, my mum will tell me that and I just give up on her.

On thursday, I watched heroes, season 3, on star world.
And the story is getting so freaking complicated that I don't exactly understand!
Now, there are so many characters and so many superpowers until I get so confused.
But heroes is quite exciting and cool so I'll continue watching! :D

Ghost whisperer is so much simpler!
You don't even have to follow the series, and you'll understand, like every episode is a different story.
Haha, I LOOK FORWARD TO EACH EPISODE EVERY WEEK! :D

Mum has been bugging me to pack my cupboard and table but I haven't started yet!

I'm at iTunes now and seeing top songs for US!
And taylor swift is totally dominating it not because her song is number but I think most of her songs from her latest album is all there!
I actually go through and see 14 of her names on the top 100 list!
Gosh, I'm actually quite surprised and her album - fearless is top of the top albums chart!
Not that like I don't like her, she is good all right but I didn't know she was that hot!
Haha, and I find her really pretty (:

And I realised US iTunes is like TONS BETTER than the singapore one!!
Singapore only provides the application store and US has everything from music to family guy videos to movie rentals!!!
And they have free music from the script!! Haha, because that is the single of the week!
But still, WHAT IS THIS?!

Okay, but at least we are still able to see US iTunes!
Haha, I was listening to the previews of the songs in the new david archuleta album!
And the songs are pretty good! :D
Gosh, and I can't stand the fact that he looks so cute, like a small little boy!! Yet he didn't win american idol, sigh, all simon cowell's fault!

Yes and I haven't been following 91.3 hot 30 countdown every weekday!
I don't even remember what was the last time I heard it but I remember lovebug by jonas brothers was number one!
I used to hear it everyday while studying but now, the tv is on at night but I do listen to the radio in the afternoon.
It's either the tv, radio or ipod on, I can't have silence!

Dad has really weird music sense!
He likes funny music, like womanizer by britney spears which he says has a nice beat!
Then I'm like WHAT?!
And he always says, "haiya, this song again!"

Really good show!
Haha I straightaway recognised the first scene, grafton street at dublin!
One song in that show actually got an oscar for best original song.

Haha I have been really ecofriendly because I haven't slept with aircon! :D
Going to keep it up since the weather these last few days has been quite cool.

I have to blog about NCO camp!
So it was from the 7th to 8th, which is friday to sat in school!

The camp was all about learning how to be an effective NCO, not tough at all!
Actually, looking at red cross stresses me out because they are always so on the move and strict and all that and we're laughing away!
And they are sitting at the quadrangle, looking at us eat.

Haha, shamaine ho and I shared 3 packets of food for dinner.
I must say we are such PIGS when others don't even finish their packet of food.
But oh wells, since some people don't come, we might as well don't waste food and eat their share too!
And we had fun buns for supper!

Mr ganesh actually brought hairspray dvd to watch at night!
But the stupid com in the class we were sleeping in wasn't working! So disappointing!
Haha, and hanissa actually brought camp rock but we decided on hairspray!
NIght time was horrible, because people have weird sleeping habits like taking out their bras and even pants!
Gosh, and I barely slept that night!!!
In the middle of the night, siyi and gang were making so much noise!!
But I couldn't really sleep anw.
And shamaine ho is a terrible sleeper because she rolls around a lot that poor hanissa was squeezed!
That stupid cheryl koh actually slept through the night without any distubances at all because she was very tired!

Food certainly makes the world go round.
We were doing drills in the morning before lunch and everyone had a chance to go up and explain drills, like to sec ones.
At first, we pretended to be such ignorent dumb dumb sec ones but after, we got so hungry we couldn't stand it anymore so we hurried up!!
All for the sake of food (:

I was so tired that I slept throughout in the car and didn't even bother waking up to say bye to cheryl koh when she left. Haha.

Oh yes, and that day was arsenal vs manu match!
I don't really support either teams but since I'm so against manu, of course I was supporting arsenal for that particular match.
Okay, so arsenal lost and I was laughing on manu's loss.

Then, I went to sleep and woke up for the liverpool match.
Haha, I have been doing that many times!
Dad actually asked me to wake him up too but he left a note "DAD NOT WATCHING"
Haha, so I watched alone.
Then, it started to rain so heavily and there was thunder/ lightning!
So I guess it woke dad up at the 80th minute of the game and he sat on the sofa, sleeping, like what's the point right?

On sunday morning, mum complained that it was so bright that it disturbed her sleep because I switched on too many lights!
So I better bear that in mind, before mum comes smacking my butt. Haha.

I watched Little Manhattan yesterday! Such a cute show! :D
And I watched a little of casino royale yesterday on star movies, watched that quite a few times already!
I like that movie! (: JAMES BOND IS COOL!!
And today, I watched blades of glory!!
Really really funny show!! I was laughing uncontrollably on the sofa!
And I love the way they use the I don't want to miss a thing song! :D

I'm actually trying out the applications on my ipod touch right now!
Gosh, some of the games are just so addicitive.
I'm actually very amazed on what free applications there are!
Haha, you can load the whole bible there and there is even one in chinese!
And applications to help you keep track of your diet and exercise routine!

And I was supposed to go out with janine they all today but it was cancelled because only hejia, janine and I could make it so it has been postponed!

OBAMA WON! :D the us presidential elections!
Quite expected actually, in my opinion.

Watched the pursuit of happyness today!
And sydney white, starring amanda bynes, yesterday!
That movie was funny!
My mum said she heard me laughing in her room!
Haha.

Went swimming yesterday when it was raining.
But swimming in the rain is quite cool! :D

Yes and went to my ah ma house today!
Played badminton with dylan!
Haha, he uses such small junior size badminton racket!

Ahma's maid cooks such great food!
Haha, had prawn mee over there!
And she cooks like cheese prata and all the other stuff! :D

STUPID RENOVATION is going on te 12th floor and I live on the 15th but I can hear the noise so loudly!
It spoils my sleep you know!!
ARGH REALLY REALLY ANNOYING!
I am forced to wake up early.

Anw, today was finally the last day of school!
The other schools all ended their term so much earlier than us.
So we had class party and watched one missed call, which we didn't finish.
And it wasn't exactly very scary but hejia, shitian and charlotte kept hiding behind the board!
Yes, and we had class party!

Okay nothing much on the last day of school because we would still be in the same class when we get to sec 4.
But I WILL MISS THE CLASSROOM!
The location is just great, so convenient, the NEAREST classroom to the canteen, you don't have to climb the stairs when you come from the foyer.

My weekend has been busy with clean and green week at the marina barrage!
Haha, our seagrass project was displayed there! :D

Although it was pretty tiring and time-consuming, it was fun (:
All the aunties just wanting freebies and we tried to control.
We gave out stickers and colouring sheets!
Haha, and there was also the banded leaf monkey group that shared our booth.

Food was good, there was breakfast and tea too!
And there was a milo van and free soyabean.
But the bad thing is that it was REALLY REALLY WARM!!
No aircon, CLEAN AND GREEN you see.
